Rook will obliterate every barrel and crate he finds like any graceful and sublime assassin should. He is truly the pride of Antiva.

can we talk for a moment about how rook can greet the inquisitor if both are elves?
rook will say this;
"andaran atish'an" is considered a formal elven greeting
and lavellan will respond with
and "aneth ara" is not only considered an INFORMAL greeting but is also almost strictly used by the dalish amongst themselves
while lavellan is of course dalish - and rook can be too (? or at least you could headcanon? idk it feels odd to have a vallaslin and not be dalish lol) - my rook is a city elf (while that's not a set character option like in, say, origins, she bears no vallaslin and is kinda implied to be a city elf, not dalish, in the rest of the game)
of course it does make total sense for someone, even rook, to greet the inquisitor formally, them being you know the world's saviour and a person of prestige either way, even if the inquisition was disbanded (which was the case in my run here)
but something about lavellan responding "casually" is quite funny to me lol

POV: You’re trying to figure out the most tactful way to extricate yourself from third-wheeling this research session at the Lighthouse. 👀

Can’t stop smiling at this. :’) I commissioned the incredible Valentina Paz (@redactedshapes) to illustrate Ryo and Neve together! She was wonderful to work with and proposed a couple scenes including this one, and even from the thumbnail sketches I was transfixed (and so is Neve heheh.)
Thank you so much again, Valentina! ❤️

Made a silly thing.
I love them.
Useless Veilguard fact of the day: Day 454
All in-game romances will typically save the love confession for the end-game, after Rook is rescued from the Regret Prison.
However, there is one exception where a companion can confess their love much earlier. When Harding and elven Rook discusses her feelings on Solas's role in the war with the Titans after watching his memories, she can re-affirm she loves Rook no matter what happened in the past.
Dialogue choice: They should've known. Rook: The ancient elves should've been more careful. I'd be angry too. Even at me. A little. Harding: Rook, I'm not angry at you at all. I love you. Harding: No ancient hurt is strong enough to touch that.
Alternatively:
Dialogue choice: I don't know. Rook: I don't know what they could've done differently, or if there was any way for them to know. Rook: As an elf, I wish I could help. Harding: It's not fair to you. I shouldn't expect you to speak for them. You're not the ancient elves and I'm not the Titans. Rook: You are a little bit Titan. Harding: But no matter what happened in Solas's time, we're here together, and I love you. Harding: No ancient hurt is strong enough to touch that.
