Lilly was checking her social media profile. She received a new and unusual friend request.

Jessica: And tell us darling, how did you both meet?

Lilly: We met in a bar four months ago.

Jessica: A… bar? Oh, how gorgeous.

Dearick: What an inspiring speech, William.

William: Thank you, Dearick. Your presence here is very important, I am glad to work with people like you.

Dearick: Hi Jessica.

Jessica: Good evening, Dearick… and who is this reluctant lady?

Dearick: I would like you both to officially meet my girlfriend, Lillian  Vanamburg.

William: How do you do?

The LeClercqs came from Paris to Lauringham after Jean-Dominique LeClercq, the head of the family, started a business in the United States seeking independence from the patriarch of his family in France. He resides with his family in a neoclassical palace with French influences in the Heddington Park district.

Chelsea LeClercq, born in England into an aristocrat family, is well known in society, specially because she’s part of the inner and exclusive circle of Mrs. Cornell since they both attended the same boarding school together. Besides being the matriarch of her family branch in America, she is also the marketing director of the LeClercq Group, the company her husband built. She gave birth to three children, one of whom is attending a university in Europe.

Diane LeClercq, the second of the LeClercqs’s children, is an artistic yet mature girl who became friends with the group of Mrs. Cornell’s daughter once she attended St. Andrews. Sadly, the friendship fell apart and has been a little paranoid about her former friends.

After school, Diane was reading in her library when she received a call…

Diane: What do you want?

Sabrina: I just wanted to apologize for what happened, Diane. Monica told me everything.

Diane: Give that fake apology to this drooled society, Sabrina.

Sabrina: No Diane. I had no idea what Monica did. I know that isn’t right. I had nothing to do with that.

Diane: Do you forget we were friends for a long time? I know you, Sabrina. That was all your plan! Stop acting and do never call me again!

The next Monday, the girls were talking during the recess…

Diane: I told you they were evil…

Chloe: To be fair, Diane, Luke and you were not officially dating.

Diane: Do not defend them! They knew… everybody knew we liked each other, and they were my friends. They did it on purpose!

Meryl: The good thing is that now you know what Luke’s priorities are.

Sabrina: Good afternoon ladies! How was your lunch?

Diane: Stay away from us, you band of false women!

Sabrina: Diane! Why are you so rude?

Diane: As if you don’t know, Sabrina!  There’s a limit on what you can do and can’t with a former friend. There are boundaries. Now go!

Sabrina: Thank you!! It is nice that all of you decided to attend. Hope you’re enjoying the gala, Diane.

Diane: *This hypocrite girl!*

Amanda: Good evening Sabrina… Angelica.

Diane: Amanda, I’d like you to meet our friend, Chloe Parker.

Diane: Chloe, she is Amanda Conrad. She attends the Sullivan Academy.

Amanda: How d’you do, Chloe?

Chloe: How do you do?

Amanda: I am glad you all were able to come! I thought you did not want to.

Meryl: Oh… last minute changes.

The girls entered the ballroom. 

Chloe: Wow, finally…

Chloe: *whispering* I’ll rub elbows with AISNE students.

The Parkers live in a forgotten street of Weldtown, the ugly south western sister of Lauringham.
