the difference in povs between colt and tom is so interesting, how they’re both so very down bad in different ways and somehow managed to get the impression that the other wasn’t as into it as they are. I did love the jody and ryland appearances, coltland twins yay, but poor colt. fully convinced that ryder doesn’t care about him at all, and why would he think otherwise? the line about him feeling like a slut but only in retrospect never during?? evil and demented. loved it so much can’t wait for the next chapter!!

down bad in very different ways yes yess, i tried to convey it as much as i could with colt's pov. tom just keeps gaslighting himself the best he can while colt is just 100% in the trenches, overthinking every single thingg.
