It depicts a fractured post utopian society. There are humans on Mars with technology so advanced it might as well be magic and they model themselves after the Greek Gods. Going so far as to force the non-technologically advanced people who live on the surface of the planet to re-enact the Iliad. Killing each other in endless battles for the amusement of their "gods."

Out beyond Mars there are colonies of mining androids on the moons of Jupiter. They've been cut off from all humans for centuries and have spent that time endlessly debating human literature. Each robot has one author or piece of work that they obsess over.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, human society has become completely and utterly hedonistic. They have robots to do absolutely everything for them and so they spend their lives partying and fucking. Because they have these machines to do everything for them they see no point in learning about anything themselves to the point that anyone who does put any effort into learning is seen as a freak. Simply learning how to read can get you socially ostracized.

Comments and views of any kind push your video up in the rankings which pulls in more views. Now you can fake this pretty easily by using a bot. But that's against the rules and getting caught doing it can get your channel terminated.
