If there's something you want that only you can do for yourself, then push yourself to build up the strength you need to get it done. Listening to what your body is telling you, and taking whatever steps are needed to feel better is always worth that time and effort. Ideally, I hope you get to spend as much of your life as possible in a state of being comfortable

Can we just acknowledge that, regardless on if you’re a trans man, trans woman, or nonbinary, we’re all fucked right now. Yes, some groups experience higher specific types of assault rates than the others. But we all have them all higher than cis people. We all are currently being targeted. And we all need to have each other’s backs or else they’ll be mounted on a fucking wall by next spring. Get your fucking act together, stop making each other your enemies.

I’m bisexual but I generally don’t like media centered around heterosexual romance. So much of it is so fucking bad. The male protags in like 85% of straight romcoms deserve to be in PRISON. Don’t get me wrong, there is some really bad gay media out there but it’s like writers and actors forget characters have to have chemistry when they’re writing a man and woman who are allegedly in love. So many of the het romance tropes are insufferable, misogynistic, toxic and/or rape-y and as I previously stated, the male love interest is often a straight villain or completely boring and one dimensional. A heterosexual romance movie comes out to huge fanfare every year and when you finally read the plot of it or see clips you’re like “And there were women who enjoyed this???”
