I saw some confusion about Ed's age cuz he said he was 12-13 in World Tour for SF6, so, with the use of the timeline of events from the Street Fighter Wiki and some paraphrasing from the repost of the post I saw this on made by user @rosewood-multifandom-writer, I wanted to shed some light on it (originally post was made by @corokoro ).

So, Ed is estimated to be around 10 when he's found by Balrog in Street Fighter 4, as was pointed out by rosewood. The timeline shows that, between 4 and 6, roughly 12-14 years pass. From reading the screenshot I saw coupled with the timeline information, it's most likely that Ed saying he's 12-13 is because he'd have no way of knowing his age while he was an experiment, so those 12-13 years post-rescue are the only ones he'd be able to keep track of. So, based on this, Ed is around the age of 22 to 23.
