We are Dads perfect workmanship:)
http://skitguys.com/videos/item/gods-chisel I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24
I worry that saying ‘Be like Jesus! He’s cool cuz He hung out with sinners!’ actually ostracizes ‘sinners’. He never labeled them as such. It was disapproving religious folk who said Jesus was a friend of sinners. They were insulting Jesus by lumping him with ‘dirty people’. If we feel good about ourselves because we hang out with ‘sinners’, we’re elevating ourselves in a Pharisaical hierarchy. Jesus didn’t tell us to love sinners. He told us to love our neighbors [and our enemies]. So no, don’t ‘be like Jesus who hung out with prostitutes and drunkards’. Be like Jesus who saw people as names and faces and stories, not sins. When religious people point at you and say ‘Don’t you know this woman has a past?’, Jesus smiles and says ‘I know she has a future.’

We as children of God all have a seed. Not all of us are so fortunate for our seed to grow big instantly. Abram's (Abraham's) seed nearly took his whole life to reach a stage of faith where he would listen to God and be willing to sacrifice his one and only son; having full faith that God knew what was best for him. It's not about how big the tree grows or blossoms but about the seed and how we cultivate our faith in Jesus.
What's up Spy5ever!!! Two youth groups ago on Sunday 28th July, when we separated between guys and girls, Joe led the guys bible study and it was on Colossians 2 Been trying to think through what FALSE HUMILITY means and looks like. The wallpaper for my computer desktop, is what I thought was pretty cool and hipster. It's in a minimalist empty yellow room, occupied by three vintage pieces of furniture with a poem written with multiple different fonts by Marianne Williamson. The poem has become quite cheesy to me since its use in mainstream cinema of Coach Carter. OUR DEEPEST FEAR By Marianne Williamson Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness That most frightens us. We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small Does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking So that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, As children do. We were born to make manifest The glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; It's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others. We are all children of God, we are made in His image. God is good. He designed us with special gifts, out of his grace he sent his one, and only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. Out of his grace he hears our prayers when we are speechless to understand our groans, our sighs, and our grumbles. Out of his grace we don't need to pray a "right way" with the "right words". Out of his grace our mistakes and our vain actions can be used to be fruitful and glorify him. Such a gracious God, such a Great God, who are we to deny him glory. False humility, when we play small, we let our sins dictate our lives, when we worship ourselves instead of God about how humble WE are, how weak WE are, how sinful WE are, how faithless WE are. We got to remember God sent His one and only son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross, he died and resurrected. He defeated death, he defeated sin, in Christ we have victory and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. Let us live in light of this! Don't focus on asking how was church, lets us ourselves how is God, how is our relationship with God. Lets continue to strive for that intimacy with Christ, only with him and through him we can confidently ask ourselves why can't I be.... Why can't I be a pastor, a fisher of thousands of men? Why can't I be a world famous psychologist? Why can't I be an accomplished construction manager? Why can't I be an influential architect? Why can't stop what I'm doing to travel and explore the world? Why can't I be one of the most selfless person in the world? Why can't I be one of the most humblest person in the world? Why can't I play an important role in Gods magnificent plan? Why can't someone so great as Jesus die for MY sins? Why can't God love me? False humility. It's not about how much glory we get for ourselves but how much glory God gets. Colossians 2:13-23. Don't stress, Bible press.

Psalms 86:10-11
For you are great and do marvellous deeds you alone are God; teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
Monkeys!!!!!
Bible Study - James 5:13-20
What is Prayer?
Who does James ask to pray? V13-14
If we are sick and we pray, are we always made well? V15
Do some people have more “Prayer power” than others? V16
How then do we become friends of God? V17-18
What can we learn from Elijah? V17-18
How can we bring back someone if they stray from God?
Knowing all this, why do we pray?
My dearest brothers and sisters
Firstly I thank God for giving me courage to write this. Today I would like to confess a deep part of my heart that has for a long time remained in darkness. Today i come in humility, recognizing my place before the Lord. I come today fearing the Lord. I also come today in brokenness and despair, knowing that my sins have prevented me from a closer relationship with the Lord and with you all. So today, I bow low before the Lord and also before you all, to ask for forgiveness. I ask for forgiveness for all the ways I've sinned against you; my brothers and sisters; in ALL of my speech, thought and action. I ask for forgiveness for hindering you from receiving the fullness of Gods grace and love. I also ask for forgiveness for causing tension, doubt, hatred, jealousy, unfriendliness, dislike and awkwardness in relationships. I repent of all these sins and I turn away from them. I ask you all for forgiveness and I am so sorry for sinning against you in ways knowingly and unknowingly, Infront of you and/or behind your back. Before the Lord today, I bring then all into light. I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I am a sinner:( If you do forgive me, please tell our most forgiving Father. May he break down any bitterness/ barriers between us. Also if you have wronged me in any way please know that you are completely forgiven:) Praise our Lord who is the most loving and forgiving! May He continue to pour out his grace upon us all! 'Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave.'
Some thoughts on the discussion of Computer Games
Hey everyone, Pris here.
I am so encouraged to hear everyone think critically about the things we interact with every day.
There are some things i would like to share with you to consider seriously as dialogue about it continues:
Don't be legalistic - like setting up more rules to control yourself. Remember that what matters most is how you are viewed by God, which is that you're perfect and what matters from here is your relationship with Him. Sin is a relationship-breaking act, and if gaming proves to be a point of sin for you, then you must treat it as the Bible says. But then again, don't set up unnecessary rules that make you look or feel more godly. There is no value to such. Rather, seek God always and if gaming gets in the way of that then it is time to change.
Careful not to judge - especially brothers or sisters who game a lot in your perspective. They may be "wasting time" on it, but be careful that you are not being hypocritical about it. What do you "waste time" on in your life? How can you encourage your stumbling brother or sister and how can you both work together to live for Him better?
Don't afraid to be different - particularly with your friends. It's hard to do things different to them, but as Christians, we are called to be different. Don't be afraid, it's worth it. God will lead you in filling your time with encouraging things that don't always mean work! God teaches us to rest too. How can we rest in a way that glorifies God and in moderation? Just because your friends pulled an all-nighter in a mighty tournament, you don't need to either!
1 Timothy 4:4
For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.

Discussion: Gaming in the Christian's life
What do you think about it?
There's no point
Peer pressure involved, gaming is social
Easier than real life - escapism
Want to be competitive with others
Makes us feel smarter or better than we usually think of ourselves
It gives the illusion of productivity
Emotional rush, adrenalin
Affects time management
Screws your social life
What do you know the BIble to say about it?
"Whatever you do, do it for God" but whenever you play games, you don't do it for Him
What we choose to play, we must learn to responsibly engage.
Lol hows it going everyone?!?! ((>.<))
Wanna share this song with everyone: “Give me a song” by Will Reagan & United Pursuit from their album Endless Years
Are you finding it hard to worship and praise God?
Remember the power of prayer: Matthew 7:7-9 7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
God WANTS to bless His children.
That’s us. We are His children.
How can you worship and praise Him despite all the trials, temptations and business of our daily lives?
=D
What's your greatest fear?
Jesus' was separation from God.
Are you religious or intimate?

SORRY ABOUT THE PHONE VIBRATIONS. D: Hey SPY.kids, Victor, Pris and Joe just chatting about their convictions, experiences and thoughts on computer gaming in...
Don't hate, appreciate.
Tonight (to-morning) I made a a promise to God that I will delete a certain computer game and will never redownload it on to my computer. I have always known that I had a gaming addiction. Time and time again, after deleting it, I always came back to it.
A certain sister whose name starts with a "P" and rhymes with "la" noted that when I stopped gaming, my addiction would manifest in spending. It was hilarious how true that was.
When we deal with the addictions in our lives, we need to discern that it is not the addiction, but the sin that is the problem.
When I game, I push aside the life that God has lovingly prepared for me and forfeit the joy and suffering that the life has to offer. I'm too afraid to face the challenges and hardships that I know I will face. I'm too afraid of where God calls me and what He calls me to do.

Heavenly Father, I pray that you break my heart for what breaks Yours and bless my heart with joy for what brings you joy. May Your will be done in my life. Amen.
