Yes, we can all get angry/upset at times and want to vent about it. But when it’s about a certain person? Maybe something they’ve done to upset you? Annoy you? You are allowed to vent about it in private as much as a grey area that is for some, but posting vagues about it in public is not advisable.

Why? Because others who are not even involved might look at that vague, and ask themselves: “Oh? Is this about me?” It can make people feel horrible. It can make people feel like they’ve done something wrong when they haven’t at all. Some might come to you, and actually ask you if the post is about them, and that they are sorry if it is (if they had need to be sorry about anything). So you see, vague posts can have consequences. You can make someone either really upset or really angry towards you. You’ll get that reputation as word will go around that you vague post about people. People will literally say “Hey, I think this person is vague posting about me.” You will lose partners as so many have it in their rules that they will unfollow over vague posting.

Vague posting honestly solves nothing, it can only make the issue worse for you. If you have an issue with an individual, then you should say to them, you should tell them to stop doing what they are doing that upsets you if it’s something personal between the both of you. Learn to say no. If it’s a theme they roleplay? Don’t vague about it. Ask them to tag it, ninety-nine percent of the time, people will tag it if they are asked. But if you make a vague about it that goes a bit like this “Gross, I just saw someone roleplaying one of my triggers.”, then a whole lot will look at this post, and might think it’s about them. Also, quite a few that do this also unfollow the person they are posting about but decide to do it anyway. Unfollowing is a good move by itself if it’s to get you away from something that makes you uncomfortable, most will understand that, but unfollowing then making a vague post? It’s uncalled for to be honest.
