I also enjoy F.D Signifier, I loved his breakdown of the Drake/Kendrick beef from a critical leftist lense but still with a lot of focus on music and rap culture.

Shanspeare obviously is amazing, her videos that talk about pop culture and girlhood are my favorite. Her recent video about the gaylor conspiracy was rlly juicy (thumbnail makes it look much more click-baity than it is, promise.)

Another creator I love is Tea Noir, she's been on hiatus for a bit but recently posted an amazing video about the culture of normalizing sexual abuse and systemic harm .. big cw for explicit discussion Abt Diddy, Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein etc but her analysis was really good

My YouTube habits are quite niche I'm afraid, I love knitting YouTubers and longform video essays, idk if that's what you're looking for... Lmk if you're looking for any craft related content and I'll make a separate post. For less niche YouTube, I love Intellexual Media, she makes long, educational (and sometimes funny) videos about history and social issues. I also love Randy Moon (internet history/culture), Gavin the Medievalist (history/commentary), Shanspeare (social commentary essays), and Cool Stitches (crafting content with a wider appeal).

Books, I mostly read nonfiction these days. I loved Empire of Pain and London Falling by Patrick Radden Keefe, both investigative narrative fiction. The best book I've read recently is Blazing Eye Sees All by Leah Sottile, narririve nonfiction about the cult of mother god and the history of American spiritualism (and it's connecting to white supremacy, anti intellectualism, mlms, etc).

Tv- we watched Widow's Bay, so good. Im obsessed with Industry. We are currently watching Silo, which I find so campy honestly. I'm excited for another season of Dune Prophecy:)

Video games, I play a lot these days. I play a lot of Hollow Knight and Silksong lol, I am close to 100% on hollow knight for my first playthrough and working on a steelsoul run in silksong (sudden death mode, no respawning). Another Metroidvania I love is Mio memories in orbit, the music and visuals in that game are on another level. I'm not paying them much right now, but I like cozy farming games like Echoes of the Plum Grove.

Recently my bf and I have been playing board games a lot, I like one called Mycelia (the Ravensburger one) it's a deck building game centered around a magical mushroom forest :)
