first step: download revanced (link) you can either manually download and install the apk thru the releases page which is pretty easy OR you can do the even easier option which is download thru fdroid (link) which installs it for u, basically like google play but for FOSS software. we love fdroid in this economy!

second: open that sucker up. chances are you might have automatic updates off for tumblr! good for you my babe but you gotta do a lil more sorry.

third: you have to download a second apk of tumblr. personally i couldnt find a website that has JUST a tumblr apk, its all apk packages which means u "have" to download their installer BUT!!!!!!!!!! worry not my brochacho. i have a solution. you do not need to download a shady installer!! instead install antisplit m (link) by clicking on releases and downloading the .apk file, running that and boom. you got it. find an apk mirror site you trust!! and download which version of tumblr you want (personally, i downloaded an older version because tumblr is ANNOYING!!!), i used apkmirror.com (link) and once you have your apk package file (which is something like .xapk, .apkm, .apkp, etc), open the antisplit m app and put the package in there, and it will hand u back an beautiful and clean .apk.

fourth: when u have this new apk, DONT RUN IT! dont install it, dont do none of that. uninstall your CURRENT version of tumblr from your phone, and open up revanced. open the patches tab and then select apps, then the little button at the bottom that says storage! locate your new tumblr apk and select that. once opened in the app, itll tell you the patches it is about to put on the app, which is the fun stuff like getting rid of ad, tumblr tv, and gift stuff. IF you want to edit these patches, tap on the box telling you all the patches and you can add and remove patches you want and dont want. then you press the patch button and it does the magic and patches! that! apk!!!

i did not however count erisolsprite, since I don’t really care about him, but after glancing at his dialogue real quick, it appears he too prefers “and” over “an.”

There are 42 total occurrences of words ending in “ing.” 19 of these words are instances of the word “thing.” One is the word “bring.” Two are the word “something. The rest are present tense “ing” verbs. 19+2+1 is 22. So of his “ing” use, 21 are nouns and one is a command verb rather than a present tense “ing” verb. 20 are present tense verbs.

Also, his uses of “something” are not during his quirk drop, but rather regular speech.

Now let’s look at his “g” dropped words. There are 211 of these in total, with his most spoken one being “fuckin” which has 46 instances in the data I have collected of just regular old Eridan (not Erisolsprite). Of these, only “somethin”(11) and “anythin” (6) are nouns. There are zero uses of “anything” in his dialogue. The rest of the g dropped words are “ing” verbs. He also never drops the g at the end of the word “thing” by itself, only variants with a prefix such as “somethin” (11 uses) or “anythin” (6 uses)
