She could extend them into thin 2-3 inch long spikes, coated in some kind of blue fluid that linked you into a hivemind (with her as the queen)

She'd extend them while she nuzzled your neck, it was quick, like prick pen. And your mind fading would numb out the pain.

The fluid would immediately close the wound, leaving behind three blue dots, kinda like a vampire bite but with three teeth.

She also had leaf-like antennae that folded down backwards to blend in with her hair. She used them to mentally communicate with her hive.

I make it a point to use empathy qnd compassion wherever possible while maintaining strong boundaries because the only people that really want to be around you when you mock others are the kind of people who jump at the chance to hurt someone for their own satisfaction.

I keep thinking I’ve found answers. Then something new and awful happens and I’m left baffled.

Perhaps people want to feel superior. It doesn’t even matter if their target hears them, they’re just repeating it for themselves to assert their perceived position.

It could be that they consider certain types their enemies, and find reactivity insufficient. They want to actively seek out these people and harm them in order to… prevent their evil? I’m not sure.

Or maybe the world taught them that kindness gets them exploited by the cruel, so they choose cruelty to not be hurt. But why project it outwards so much? To teach others this lesson?

Those sorts of answers are too story-like to be real, they wrap human complexity into a neat little package with a bow on top. I don’t understand why people choose to go out of their way to mock, provoke, and harm. It almost feels too big a question to ask.

I can never really find answers to my questions either. You rarely find someone who openly claims to want to harm others. It’s always an “I’m not ___-ist/phobic, but…” type justification when its categorical, or a “they had it coming” for personal targeting. Even a flimsy “that’s not what I meant” can be used to deflect self-assessment as someone who chooses cruelty. Even when it is what they meant. It seems people will do anything to either justify an internal belief they’re not unnecessarily cruel, or save face in front of others.

I try to be kind. At least more kind than I used to be. I didn’t choose cruelty in the bad old days, but I was ignorant of others needs because I hadn’t trained my empathy muscles yet. Maybe that’s what other people are like too but I feel like some people have a malice that I lacked, even at my worst.

I’m sick of “praise kink” meaning baseline encouragement and repetitive “good creature” platitudes. I need to shatter someone’s rib cage with praise so immense they feel the bone press against their heart whenever they perform the action I praised them for.

…wait. Is this a gaslight/behaviour manipulation tool too? Can I praise someone intensely for something they’re not or they don’t do frequently, and then they’ll be aware of that behaviour when they do it in future, causing it to increase in frequency and intent?

Oh hypnosis kink can be SO SILLY and I think has such ability to be spun silly over some other kinks, even when doing serious things.

While spinning it looks like a spiral and when it stops the label spells “SLEEp” (d3375 upside down), then the guy goes into an instant induction pull and the rest is handled offscreen. It’s incredibly campy and dumb but kinda fun?

To me the more egregious scene is where the main characters slide down a laundry chute from a roof in one city and land on the ground in another city, much to their surprise.

We learn that this was done by the chute having strobe effect lights and binaural beats to put them into a trance, then they were kept in trance for this very long international flight, and then they woke up halfway down being falling down a different chute in the new city.

The same thing happened to me the other week. Got a cool form change in the summer movie symbolising the inevitability of my victory, but it had continuity issues due to the director being different to the show, so people are calling it a non-canon alternate timeline.
