hello friends its been a while since i’ve actually posted on this blog. i haven’t done fanart on here in forever bc i rarely got any recognition. this is a small blog tho so i wasn’t really concerned. but not getting notes on the pieces i actually tried on but getting notes on the shitty things i make when im bored is kind of discouraging. 

im thinking about making a new blog bc the art that is on here just doesn’t represent what i do now. im finishing up my second year of university and my style has changed drastically, but i haven’t really posted any of that stuff here. i’ve also just been busy with classes so all the energy that i have to make art goes to that. don’t get me wrong i love it, and i quickly learned i wanna be a storyboard artist after college, but its hard work and i just dont have as much energy for fan art. 

that being said i am getting back into drawing just to draw now that i have more free time. i also finally bought a pen display!! since my university closed, i could no longer use their cintiqs :( so i bought a cheaper huion display (it was still expensive but like, nothing compared to wacom) and im really happy bc my school provides the entire adobe suite free to students so i’ll no longer have to rely on the studio being open (or empty, for that matter) and i can draw whenever.. i used by ipad for a while, which is good for sketching and doodling, but i’ve missed getting to use photoshop whenever i want.

i’ve also been editing video for my church now that they have to do online sermons. i go up to the church once a week, record the pastor’s message, and ten record the worship team later (we do it at different times to minimize the amount of people there) and then go home and edit the videos. it has been really fun to actually put some of my skills to use outside of school and hobby work.
