Always come to the ballet student for tips on removing glitter from everything. Firstly, get changed, put all of your clothes either directly in the laundry or into a bag if they are dry clean only, take a shower, and then you can begin on tidying. Any surfaces with glitter on can be cleaned up with blue tack, and the floor will need vaccuming several times. And then youâll probably want a shower again.
You are, however, doomed to a year of picking bits of glitter out of your hair, your clothes and your house. Thereâs nothing you can do about that but embrace it.
Why on earth are you buying halloween costumes this early, anyway? And what needs enough glitter to cover a room?
You know, you should put this out there somewhere, because Iâm sure Iâm not the first person to glitter-bomb themselves, and that was a very detailed and very helpful description. Thank you!
Oh, I didnât actually buy any costumes. I was just cleaning up my apartment, and found some boxes with old supplies from when I used to make costumes for my kids. Donât worry, I didnât completely cover them in glitter or anything. I just thought it'd be convenient to have lots of different colours. And I definitely donât mind having a bit of glitter in my life for the next year, as long as my hair doesn't stay gold.Â
