I'm gonna keep it real....chapter 5 made me MORE of a Kerdly shipper, now you probably thinking I'm being lowkey delusional rn and maybe I am because we barely got on any kerdly moments this chapter. But with everything going on with Kris, and the small tidbits of moments we did get....really solidified my love for this ship. Seeing how isolated and alone Kris is, reminded me so painfully of Berdly in a similar way.

They both wear masks to protect themselves, also simultaneously pushing those close to them away while yearning for companionship. Berdly is always being left behind but...so it Kris! From the festival, to the moments in the dark world, even at home. Both of them are alone in their own friendgroups, and they don't know how to fix it because their scared.

Both of them are losing their most important person right in front of their eyes, Noelle for Berdly and Susie for Kris. It's mind boggling to think about how early on in the game, Susie and Kris latched onto each other because they were the only ones in Hometown that can truly understand one another. But now, Susie is doing better for herself. She has a community with the darkners in Castletown, her and Ralsei are growing closer, she's 'dating' Noelle and wants to invite her to the dark world so she can join their adventures. All of this is happening, and Kris is left behind in the grand scheme of it all.

It's not that they don't want Noelle to join, their afraid that slowly she'll take their place in Susie's worldview. And that's the same fear Berdly has, he fears he's easily replaceable to not only Noelle but to everyone around him. Their both lonely kids, isolated from their peers due to external and internal forces. Maybe that's why Kris is weird around Berdly, because they see a reflection of themselves in him that their afraid to acknowledge yet.

Berdly stands alone in the library or his hospital bed, and Kris stands alone in their room and the dark corridors of the school. They both have similar interest, humor, and fears. It makes sense while looking deep into this, that these two would get along so well because their practically parallels. Just as Kris feels like their losing Susie, and Berdly is losing Noelle, they can gain a new friendship and perspective from each other.

Because yes, Susie understands Kris, but what Kris needs imo is someone whose completely removed from the prophecy and the mess that is the Hometown conspiracy...and that's Berdly. And Berdly needs someone who will validate his own feelings and experience without making him feel like he has to be ironic about it. If their going to be lonely, they can at least be lonely together.

1. If you choose to have Kris go on that date with Berdly, it will start out humorous but end with Berdly having a heart-to-heart moment with Kris thus a deeper understanding of his character is presented.

2. More signs that point to Noelle potentially being the ANGEL.

3. Ralsei leaves the team/Get's replaced by Noelle temporarily.

4. More of the Dreemurr family is expanded on, even an explanation for why the divorce happened and what went wrong.

5. Fields of gold and pink flowers represent Noelle and Susie possibly, not just Asgore.

6. More Suselle moment, but might be doomed based on which route.

7. Susie definitely becomes more suspicious in the snowgrave route bcs Noelle's behavior is going to be seen by her.

8. More of Kris' backstory gets revealed.

9. More explanations on Carol and Kris' plans and what it has to deal with the Knight.

10. Asriel and Dess get mentioned, especially Asriel.

11. More character development for Noelle and Berdly.

12. The prophecy is going to happen no matter what, prompting Susie to become more desperate to stop it. (Maybe following the cat's tail unknowingly)

13. More tension amongst the FUN Gang as more of the prophecy gets revealed.

14. Asgore mistakes Ralsei for Asriel.

15. Asgore's intentions for opening the dark world might be different then what was assumed.

16. Carol has something to do with Asgore's dark world.

17. Something happens to Rudy that finally prompts Noelle to 'crash out'.

18. Berdly gets connected to something the playerbase did not expect.

19. Catti and Susie interactions but their not friendly.

20. Toriel and Sans are going to hangout throughout the festival, might be the driving force for Asgore's will to open a dark fountain.

21. Some characters and ships reputation might make or break this chapter.

22. More lore on who the hidden/egg man is and what his connection is to Kris.

23. The sun going down can symbolize the roaring happening.

24. Snowgrave route MIGHT end in this chapter and softlock players from moving to the last two chapters.

25. Berdly is probably never going to wake up in the Snowgrave route and if he does he'll probably be 'different'.

26. Will be the point of no return, that's for certain. No matter what character you like, what ship your rooting for, this is going to be it.

27. An explanation on why the collected eggs and Berdly are connected.

28. The darkworld portal to Castletown gets destroyed. (Might happen in the later chapters too)

29. Noelle is going to take the SOUL in the Snowgrave route.
