how i lost 30 lbs in 2 months
this worked for ME, it might not work for anyone. please please please stay safe and don't exersize if you haven't eaten.
1. EXERCISE. i can't stress this enough, if i didn't exersize i probably wouldn't have lost HALF has much weight. the perk of working out is you can eat about 900 - 1000 cals and burn off 400 - 500 of those off by just an hour of cardio.
2. eating less, but still eating. when i fast, i want to binge. to keep myself from binging and gaining weight back, i'd eat a little something every meal. a little breakfast, a protein bar for lunch and whatever my mom makes for dinner. this is something i can do FOREVER. i advise you to find a minimal eating plan you can keep up with even after you've reached your goal
3. HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE. i drink around 144 oz of water a day and could probably drink more. but it sure as hell keeps the weight off
4. no soda. not even diet soda tbh. i just drink tea. ik this isn't possible for everyone but it helped me lose 5 pounds by just cutting out soda all together.
5. eating overall healthy. a lot of people fill in their cap by eating junk food, just less. it's much better to eat in your cap, but, fill up more on veggies, protein and healthy fats
6. don't be afraid of sugar. remember, if you wanna lose weight and keep it off, you have to keep this up. however, you can't keep up never eating sugar again. if you're friends wanna for icecream once a month, go out to icecream. if your family wants to go out to dinner, go out to dinner. it's not about eating junk one time, it's about a repeated cycle of just eating junk.
7. stay determined. it's simple, it's cliche, but really, don't give up. they'll be times when it's hard, really hard, and you just wanna go back and eat 2000 calories to ease your sadness. don't give in. remember your goals, remember your thinspo, don't get discouraged for slow progress. slow progress is still progress, you'll get there
8. i touched on this before but DONT FAST. sure, you'll lose a good 3 pounds in 24h, but the second you eat even a mere 500, you're gonna gain some if not all of that back. this'll cause a plateau or, a never ending cycle of losing a lot than gaining
9. i mentioned this in the title, but if you wanna give working out a try, EAT BEFORE. cheesesticks are only 80 cals and will get you through an hour of heavy cardio. protein bars are your best friend. ik, some clock in at 200 cals and over, but you'll burn all that off at the gym. passing out during working out can cause hospitalzaiton, people finding out, and serious injury. don't work out on an empty stomach
10. finally, don't purge. this is a no brainer. you only get rid of 30% of that calories from your previous meal, and it damages your teeth, throat, and does a number on your stomach. i used to purge, and it ended with me losing my gag reflex, and i ended up GAINING weight.
