Altuplatydendron, more commonly called a Mountain Spike-Tree are common trees in the Digeroran Mountain Range. Theyāre rather stout for trees, still being taller than all the surrounding plants but easily dwarfed by other Digeroran trees. Their reproductive system is centralized at the top of their trunks on a woody plate covered in spikes, surrounded by four long leaves, these spikes produce pollenlike spores from the outmost spikes and the secondmost inner spikes, and producing berries in clusters exclusively off their central spike, their thirdmost inner spikes produce a sweet purple nectar thats eaten by pollenating ostoexoapo, allowing the pollenlike spores from the surrounding spikes to get caught in the grooves of their shells, this pollen also gets caught in the archeina of ostomesa that feed on their berries. Altuplatydendron are actually many of the same organism working together to be one solid tree, which allows them to create branches with ease, their clustered berries assist in this fact, leading to multiple seeds being left fertilised in the same spots. Mountain Spike-Tree berries are a small fleshy fruit with four seeds inside each, clusters could have as many as 48 seeds at a time. If you have any questions at all about this organism please donāt be afraid to ask.
