Eddie had noticed the yellow brought out the honey tones in Steve's brown eyes. So to make them even, he gave him his favorite vest. And maybe it was a mistake because Steve was really rocking the look. And after he's seen Steve pull some really badass shit when they were fighting actual monsters, he realized the look really fit. Steve was metal. And maybe it was a mistake because now Eddie knew what it felt like to see Steve running around in his clothes. And maybe they really fit.
