Her bottom should be bared even before the lecture/scolding begins, IMHO. Having to stand fully exposed from her waist to her ankles while she is lectured, then smacked, then put in the corner, is a deliberate act of embarrassment to increase her shame at still having to be smacked on her bare bottom like a silly little girl. That embarrassment is as much a part of her punishment as your hand bouncing off her bare bottom.

This unwanted behavior is easilly corrected in the fasion you mentioned. And once corrected will usually not recure, even if spankings for her are an infrequent occurence, putting her hand back will stop as long as she is truly shown that it will not be tolerated at all.
