If you find a therapist who you think you’d like to work with, and their prices are out of reach, hit them up anyway and see if they would be willing to make an exception. If they have good politics, they may be willing to offer you sliding scale or even a few sessions at no cost. My mentor is currently able to see their therapist twice weekly at no cost to them because they worked it out
