something something ppl who only write fanfic tend to have lackluster worldbuilding bcuz they never had to actually do it

yadda yadda the characters usually seem flat bcuz they are used to their characterization already being assumed by the reader

pacing is all over the place as a reflection of how they might have updated the fanfic.

again i ask are some of you aware just how obvious your fanfic background is when you go to publish. cuz imma be honest. if i wanted to read fanfic. i would just go read that. get what im saying
