The outfits are cool but the nun one was just straight up disrespectful. Why do people go out of their way to sexual women who make it a point they don't want to be sexualized? If chappell roan had worn a hijab and then come out to dance and sing in half a corset and a bullet bra people would be loosing their minds at the disrespect, but because she's sexualizing the religious dress of Christian women it's okay? My Muslim mind never understand how people have this little shame for as long as I live.

THIS is why I'm so suspicious of true crime fans. I seriously question the empathy dare I say the humanity of people who find entertainment in the stories of real life ser!al k*llers and psychos, dispicable people like D (i don't want to show him the respect or dignity of even saying his name). I tried watching the show tonight and I shut it off after 15 minutes because I was overwhelmed by empathy for Ds victim and couldn't stomach what this sadistic white mf was doing to an innocent black man. Seeing him toying with him and the poor guy trying desperately to escape pulled me into the screen and into his shoes and I couldn't handle the traumatic reality of what he and the other victims went through. I only watched it because a true crime obsessed friend recommended it as a thrill ride but what I got wasn't a thrill, it was bone crushing powerlessness and helplessness. It's that feeling when you turn on the news and all you see are pictures of innocent black and brown people in pain, the feeling of turning on a tv show or movie and being met with the same traumatizing images. It's been drilled so deeply into my brain, so cemented in my psyche that it's become a primal reaction for me: powerlessness and hoplessness. What's funny is the inages that induce that reaction in me are meant and is met as entertainment by others. So to all the people that find entertainment in the real world pain and trajedy of others, next time you sit down to listen to your true crime podcast or watch your true crime videos remember these were real things that happened to real people, remove the rose colored glass that seperated you from the trajedy with the thin vineer of entertainment and put yourself in the victims shoes and see how long you last. I'm not saying you can't watch true crime at all, I'm saying remember to practice your empathy while you do it, don't just watch mindlessly, use your critical thinking skills and actually try and take in what's happening as more than an entertaining story. You do that and more likely than not you won't look at it the same way

Absolutely a sucker for the “ARE YOU HURT” once over. The wandering hands, frantically checking for blood or pain just SOMETHING. ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED of what they might find while searching. The panicked look on the face of the person doing the checking, the glossy, confused “I’m fine” from the person being checked. HOO BOY just inject that shit right into my veins

This linguistic problem is only going to continue getting worse unless we fuck it in the ass now.
