Does anyone else feel like Ted gets mischaracterized because people really like Joey and project that onto Ted? Like Ted is a really fun character to watch, I will admit that, but his main character trait is being an asshole. Joey does an amazing job of playing him and his delivery is priceless but Ted is not secretly a sad softie, even his tragic backstory just makes him seem like even more of a prick because if all it took for him to go from a sweet guy to a pushy asshole was one heartbreak then he's pretty much the type of man whose tinder messages would get screenshotted and posted to r/niceguys
