Luna is like🧍‍♀️just holding it like nothing and then gives it to Nina before leaving

Usually in media they make this huge deal about who catches the bouquet but it got kinda ruined now since Nina's boss catched it first, but I DID think someone would come up to Luna or to Nina for that matter being like "omg you're next 😍"

What did they do to this show?!!??

At first I was sad that Ámbar wouldn't be in it, but now I'm kinda glad they didn't have a chance to ruin her character. But I am really shocked how they broke up all the couples at the start.. and left us with LUMON?? at the end, are y'all fr.. weren't lutteo like set in stone for forever at this point? I know it's disney and new writing crews probably and many shows that are getting continuations are getting ruined a ton so what did I expect, but still sad. Glad it's only 12 episodes, though.

I kinda liked the whole Azul/Valeria storyline but at the end I found it kinda bland..

Yeah, there were some scenes where I sometimes wondered if this was still a Disney show but the chemistry was great.

I am wondering however if they could keep their faces straight long enough to film those PAPA scenes.

See the age difference isn't all that big with Simón and Luna. I do believe Simón was eighteen during season 1. He seemed to always treat her like an equal. I think the age difference is 2/3 years, it doesn't seem all that bad.

Forst, it is not confirmed that he is a professor, he might have just been a lecturer/researcher.

Bit lets pretedn that he is one, as that is a career path I see for him and it just feels right.

So, turns out he is not too young. Appare tly the average Ph.D. completion age in UK is 26—27. And didn't Karol say at some point that Luna was 26 or so during this, so S4 happened, probably in 2025 or 2026. So if Luna is 26, Nina is 27, Matteo, Delfi and Gastón 28, Simon ans Pedro somewhere in late 20s/early 30s.

So Gastón started at Oxford in 2018, when he was 18 to 19 years old. 3 years for a bachelor, so 21–22 it us 2021 now, two for masters 23–24 ans it is 2023, ans Ph.D. take up to 3–4 years so he'd be 26–27 when he finsihed that in 2026 or so. And I thiks it is fair to assume he was a dull time studen and we can maybe shave few years off of this and say he graditaed early.

It think it is fair to assume that he is quite a recebt Ph.D. graduate who has just started working in his field.

Mixed feelings. Definitely.

Gotta say, I don’t like people immediately going ”NO ONE LIKES LUMÓN!!!” cause. That is not true. I literally just chatted with someone who cheered Lumón's endgame (they also shipped Ámbar with others, so it wasn't super important to them that Simbar wasn't endgame).

Same thing with everyone saying ”Everyone likes Lutteo”. Cause I’m here like 👀 who’s ”everyone”? 👀

The thing though, people assume that when you ship Lumón you automatically hate Simbar? Because god forbid you can multiship.

Here’s my thought process, TL;DR: I think for Luna, Simón was a better option. HOWEVER… Simbar will always be superior.

I remember a few years ago, I was liveblogging SL and in the middle of S2 I recognized how the show in that season really wanted to hint at Lumón still being a possibility. Like hadn’t I known what would have happened in the og show, I would have hoped for them over Lutteo. And people were very quick to tell me how they never could see Lumón ever happening and that it was very clear even before all the seasons came out that they were doomed. And me getting this response when I simply just wanted to react to my thoughts on where I had been in the season at that point, I felt… dumb. Like I was a fool for even writing it. And this also made me even more emotional; it didn’t help during one specific week I both had slept badly and also had PMS, and it was literally 2 AM... and I in the middle of my liveblog just wrote a long emotional post about "i know how i may sound insane but like Lumón I really feel like they could have had a possibility-" but then I also added that I really loved Simbar too. But it was like I constantly had to apologize and explain myself for liking Lumón as well.

Soon after I got an anon telling me I was "coming across as passive aggressive and guilt trippy". And that was obviously not my intention, so then I felt even MORE bad for even like. Being emotional about Lumón on my own blog.

And now... I can't help but feel a bit of shadenfraude at all the "Lumón was never supposed to happen/I can never see it be possible/No one asked for Lumón" crowd :)

However, does this mean I'm completely satisfied with Lumón as an endgame?

I didn’t hate Lumón this season. And I got happy for their kissing scenes. They were super cute at times!

This season, they made the love triangle much more obvious than ever. Except Matteo and Simón were barely fighting. Matteo, if I'm being honest... was a pretty decent guy? My biggest problem with Lutteo has ALWAYS been that I don't like how Matteo acted. I'm Luna's defense attorney. The only thing that still icked me was keeping to remind me of that 1x40 kiss. Also, if I rewatch this season again I might change my opinions cause right now I am just going from memory.

But it could also be that I accepted him more because I knew they weren’t gonna be endgame.

I loved the concept of how they ended Lumón. How their story began with Simón coming to Argentina for Luna, and then she came back to Mexico for him. I thought it was beautiful how they said ”it was always you and me”. Cause yeah, those two always end up together in one way or another 🥹

That post-credits scene with Matteo I feel was a bit of a constellation prize for devastated Lutteo shippers to imagine that ”maybe they got back together”, but for me who doesn’t like them… I just hope he went to Mexico and nothing happened ☺️ And honestly, they’re gonna screw up even more if they make yet another season now.

So, as a concept of Luna choosing Simón over Matteo? I’m 👍👍 I’m 😁😁 I’m 😍😍

However… there is a reason I can be more ok with it: Ámbar wasn’t in the picture.

If it’s just Luna, Matteo and Simón and no one else there. Then yeah. Lumón forever.

As soon as Ámbar is in the picture, then I am 100% Simbar all the time. They were literally the only endgame I liked in S3.

Now, as I am a multishipper, I ship Ámbar with others too. Maybe Ámbar finds Emilia and the goth girlfriends are canon. But I at the same time feel the STRONGEST about Simbar for all of Ámbar's ships.

There is so much that doesn’t add up. How did Simbar break up? It can’t just have been ”it just didn’t work out”. We don’t get the backstory there.

The way Simón is written in this new season… it’s like he gets back in his S1 thinking. When he was only into Luna.

But the way he was portrayed, and the way Simbar was portrayed, was that Simón dated her to forget about Luna. And then when Luna broke up with Matteo, he saw it as a chance to get back with her.

Now, there was a 2 year pause where Lumón didn’t speak. Luna also didn’t speak to Matteo during this time, and thus they all could like ”reset”. We don’t know during this time if Simón reached out to Ámbar, and if they're on good terms but don't have feelings anymore or something. But since we don’t know anything, it feels so sudden to just break them up like that and just be ok with it?!

Simón also just in general felt ooc. Why did he want to become a skating partner for Luna when music is his passion? He feels kind of lost in general. What has he even been doing for these 2 years? Wandered around? Doing small gigs? Since he randomly took the telenovela role maybe he just really needed the money. I am under the assumption the Jam and Roller team gets paid because while Luna is wealthy, since they're adults now they ought to get some money for their work since they work full time on the team.

Luna is as always an asexual mess. The second things get a bit too serious she always gets nervous. I've always said she should've ended up single cause she'd still THRIVE! This time she really did put an effort on Simón specifically. Maybe it was her nostalgia, or her comfort with him, or maybe she always felt something for him but couldn't properly act on it until now; cause people change and mature with age and Luna simply wasn't ready in S1, and Simón had moved on in S3, but then the show just decides that NOW after all these years they're on the same page. I still have to say they'd thrive in a queerplatonic relationship. No pressure, just fun vibes. Maybe they can adopt some triplets and teach them skating.

It's just, I feel like you'd have to rely on NOT REMEMBERING THE PREVIOUS 220 EPISODES to fully appreciate them, and EVERYTHING in this new season. Had they had 80 episodes of this new season, then... maybe there could be more buildup for this to make sense? But like fuck do I know. The previous three seasons lies like a big elephant in the room. The lack of Ámbar is a big elephant in the room.

I've always said that these writers take a step forward and two steps backwards with everything they do in Soy Luna.

Lumón can only truly make sense if Ámbar isn't there. And that is really sad.
