i guess it’s about time to introduce myself haha, although before i start i would like to say please do not take anything i may post or say too seriously! i’m just here to have fun, post about my DRs, shows/books/games i like, and my thoughts surrounding reality shifting.

my blog will be centered on shifting, but occasionally i may post about other medias. but i do wanna say im mainly here for advice/thoughts on shifting.

i may go inactive for long periods of time, unfortunately i cannot keep up with everything i do and i have a short attention span concerning a lot of things i indulge in. maybe I’m in my tumblr phase right now.

I DO TALK A LOT. i can’t help it, my fingers type a mile a minute and i feel like i have to explain everything i say. i will highlight certain words in paragraphs to help depict what’s important. i’m so sorry if it’s tedious!

okay, so hello ! my names Whisp/Whisper, i majorly use she/her but any pronouns are fine i don’t really care.

i am a teenager, and i’ve recently graduated high school (yay!). my birthday falls on the 4th of august, and i’m an ESFP ! currently my sexuality is unlabeled, and i truly would like it to stay that way.

no, i do not need help trying to “find a label”. i cannot keep having this conversation.

SHIFTING

i guess i originally heard about shifting back in 2020, but i hadn’t researched anything about it until late 2024. i took a huge hiatus in all shifting communities, but now i am so back!

i have so many DRs i’d love to talk about, honestly idk how many i truly have. but some of my main ones involve me being a superhero or a magical girl. they are deprived of different sources of media but are honestly just DRs with no true source. i do have a few that are based directly on some media, but most of my DRs are like what people would consider like crossover AUs i guess in like fanfiction terms?? (like modern day coffee shop AUs ykwim?)

i hateeee scripting, i have notion and i have a ton of pages of unfinished DR scripts. i swear it. i think of what i want in a reality, who i am, what i become, and let the universe do the rest. i love a surprise!

i am a crazy type-B person, everything falls into place for me. why do i need to stress a script of what i want down to a T?

Whisper Conwell is the talk of the campus! No surprise when her arrival is late, and her backstory is filled with mystery. She seems eager and ready to be a hero! Her presence sends waves of excitement through the campus, along with— what? along with a sense of distrust?

Her persona takes the stage by storm! How strange—she debuted so early, is it safe to debut her with her lack of media training?

Her friends… hm.. i dunno. everyone seems a little standoffish towards her. i mean, have you heard those rumors-ow, hey! Okay! Okay! we don’t indulge in rumors. happy?

Oh that’s Michiru! Yeah, you could say they’re friends. Michiru is a healer. though seems she didn’t get the memo about getting physically fit. Oh? yeah- she can heal open wounds by licking them like a puppy. she’s sweet as sugar. Most of the time- Michiru is found along side her girlfriend, Nana.

“ah- me and whisper? she’s so cool! i met her on my walk to the dormitories.. she slipped and fell right into the door!”

Him? yeah- that’s Scout. don’t know if that’s a nickname or if he’s actually named scout.. yeah, they’re close. He’s sorta funny too, i mean not that i think he’s funny— but he does seem to always be making Whisper and Michi laugh, even when they both seem to be in gloomy moods.

oh his powers? not sure- some kinda deal with water. he uses the water stored in his body, as well as other water sources around campus. he also has the ability to freeze it. cool huh?

No! no don’t look his way. that guy, is truly a nut case! it’s beyond me why anyone would ever think of giving that jerk powers. Why do they hang out with him? dude- heck if i know! be quiet, if he heard us we’re done…

That’s Kuni. He’s like insanely crazy. he can manipulate the wind- just knock it right out of you! he sent my ass flying for badmouthing his little group. he hates to admit it- but he has a soft spot for those idiots.

she has other friends too- sometimes that little circle of people becomes a lot! Usually, though, it consists of those few.

(regarding the anon) don’t worry haha i know it’s you!

i guess i was a little unsatisfied with how quickly they were able to adapt to their environment in the upside down. where just anybody was able to go through there. i immediately fixed that through the scala-lines.

i’ve made the terrain more difficult to navigate, the monsters worse, and tweaked a few more things! i’m not saying the upside-down wasn’t pretty scary as it is, but i guess the mainn inspiration was back in ST szn 1, where it had a eerie vibe. there is a few more things i wanna add so i might just make like a post about the Eversus when i finally figure out how i truly want it to be like.

if you’ve ever seen/read shadow & bone, the pitch black darkness was an idea that i had had for the eversus. kinda like the fold, the eversus is plagued with monsters. but then i thought about how fucking scary and dangerous it would be to not be able to see except for light from each others powers, you know? but i’m trying to figure out a way to incorporate the shadow fold into the eversus as well. right now i think just imagine it’s foggy af down there.

also YES LMAO the stakes were pretty high already lol, but i’m in it for adventure hehe.

i also am so excited to kick ass in this DR, i just have to say that 🙂‍↔️.

My main DR is like a bunch of media mixed together, like stranger things, MHA, JJK, Talentless Nana, etc. but it has a lot of core elements that separate it from them a lot. but the eversus was made with inspo from ST’s upside down (except i raised the stakes just a little, and mutilated the demogorgons (?))

if you ever find it in that closet of yours, do tell !! Right off the bat, Angel Corps sounds so cool !! i’d LOVE to hear about it !!

THE ORIGIN .

The EVERSUS

Cracks ripped in the earth, opened portals from an unknown land. A dangerous and unpredictable wasteland infiltrates earth. through these unknown spaces, demon-like creatures can step their way onto earths surface. Through spiritual ley-lines (famous places / populated areas/ anywhere with significant importance to human life), these creatures can manifest chaotic energy, grow stronger, and disrupt civilian life.

A group of scientists were able to stabilize these outbreaks. a protective sheet was placed upon the earth, but it’ll only hold for so long. its only a temporary solution, the monsters are only festering and waiting for the seal the shatter. where did this wasteland come from? what does it want from society?

Now these scientist must ban together a large group of heroes to help fight the monsters living in the eversus trying to break the seal. a certain type of light energy is the only way to defeat the enemies, but only a select few individuals are capable to posses such abilities. They have a “potential meter”, placed upon them based on how badly the energy from the outbreak affected them. those with more “potential” energy manifest stronger powers.

These groups of kids are sent to a boarding school where they must manifest and learn to hone their newfound abilities curated by the scientists.

Humanities last chance of survival falls on a random-select school of inexperienced individuals.

the SCALA-LINES

SCALA– latin for staircase/ladder

When the seal was made, these scientists realized there were magic-curated “tunnels” that were a perfect way to transport humans to the eversus and back. These “tunnels” are like moving waves of light energy, unable to hold the monsters themselves. Unfortunately, only the individuals who have been affected by high energy levels are able to access these “tunnels” without being harmed.

Later on in the project, debuted heroes must make missions through the scala-lines into the eversus and complete them. These missions consist of dangerous activity. Do not take the eversus lightly. it shows no mercy.

DEBUTED HEROES

Being emitted into the Perservation Project and sent to the school does not automatically mean you are sent on missions and sent to fight evil. no, no way! sending unqualified soldiers to the underground is surely a recipe for instant death. Instead, the scientists decided you must earn your right. So, how does one accomplish becoming a “debuted-hero”? Well, what type of hero are you?

(i may add more but i decided to keep this selection very vague lol)

based on your category (that is only obtained through your power. though some may overlap, usually you’ll fall into your strongest category. so if you have a power that can be used as a shield, but you are more utilized in attacking—you’re an attacker.) you must pass the criteria that these scientists lay upon you. They must deem you ready.

So if you are an attacker, you must balance a high-end power with a level head and a brave heart. These individuals must learn responsibility and teamwork.

If you’re a shield, you must balance a wide range ability to defend your teammates and must learn to work under pressure, these individuals often become strategists as well, knowing where everyone is/will be on the battle field.

If you, bless your heart, become a healer, you must learn the value of human life. these individuals must learn to be able to hold their own, if (god-forbid) they end up separated by their teammates. They must learn to prioritize life, and must keep a level head and learn to cure themselves and others under pressure.

Usually, these individuals become a lot physically stronger but lack powerful energy. reviving is extremely rare, and healing takes a lot of energy and effort.

Yay, you’ve debuted ! What exactly does “debuted” mean?

To keep competition flowing—and the incentive to fight high. The scientists incorporated a system of ranking “popularity“ amongst civilians.

Debuted heroes are able to customize their costumes (with, of course, the okay and help of the scientists), and are shown to the public. This also helps with funding! debuted-hero’s have photo-shoots, interviews (yes, you get media-trained), and other exciting events in store for them to appeal to the public!

A ranking comes out bi-weekly for most loved heroes amongst countries. fight for top spot!

The boarding school

Imagine a high-end boarding school, filled with classrooms for the students to complete their education. Classes consist of core classes, media training sessions, manifestation practices, studies of the eversus, etc.

After schooling, you may roam the campus freely, use your time wisely!

The campus consists of the school, the dormitories, the training grounds, the medical wing, etc.

there is a protective seal around the campus, to ensure the safety of students. students with this energy are unable to leave, it is under top security, so like imagine area-51, nobody’s getting in without permission.

All facilities are open till 9pm, it is lights out at 10pm. Do not let the guards catch you outside your dorm after 10.

(yes there are more rules like don’t have a boy in ur dorm room if ur a girl etc etc. these guys are really strict! too bad they are quite literally every where.)

im in the ATTACK category, but due to my strong ash powers i can be used as a SHIELD (and later on i can be a HEALER) basically im emitted late, and its because i have such high potential energy it exceeds the limit used to search for everyone. but dw they only find me like 2 months after everything is organized and in place.

sigh sorry i got lazy at the end, im basically brain vomiting all that i had for this DR. this is the closest thing i’ve had to a script!! yay! i may update this as i go. but since this is my main DR i may talk majorly about my life in the Perservation Project. it’s not like entirely fleshed out, but i’m letting my subconscious like handle the rest.

i have been having very vivid dreams as of late. (which i need to point out, i usually never have any recollection of any dreams i have. so trust me when i say this is definitely different for me!)

one night i heard a very vivid song in my ear. i have never heard this song before, i couldn’t recognize it. it was like someone was singing.

but as soon as i had realized i was listening to a song, it stopped and i woke up.

i’ve never lucid dreamed in my life, but i’ve started to become more in control of myself my dreams per-say?

but anyways i’m so giddy just realizing i’m getting closer and closer every day.

remember to have fun, enjoy the journey. shifting shouldn’t feel like a chore, so don’t make it one!
