For Small Business Saturday! My life and career wouldn’t be the same without the support of indie bookstores. Here Shadowhunters gather around the greatest of bookstores–Garroway Books – to celebrate reading and indie book love. These posters went out to indie bookstores all over the country for Small Business Saturday so if you’re an indie or work at an indie drop me a line to let me know you got one! (Or if you didn’t, that you want one.) Meanwhile, can anyone identify all the characters shown?

A gorgeous poster done by our lovely Cassandra Jean of Magnus and Alec in Red Scrolls of Magic. This will be given away at the ALA Midwinter and other library conferences – look closely to see of some of the neat objects from the book strewn throughout the illustration, like a travel poster of the Orient Express, a Venetian carnival mask, and some tentacles :D

I had so much fun working on volume 2! Phew! I’m happy with how the cover turned out, and I hid a theme within the volume 1 and 2 covers… can you spot it!?
