People need to realize that the days of Canada being the friendly peacekeeping neighbour on the sidelines are LONG past, but still some cling to the ideal with such ferocity, adamant that they can resist or ignore the change altogether. Folks, Canada is a different country now, and it'll keep changing. There's no telling what our immediate future holds, but the best way for us to persevere is together. ALL of us need to stand together in this new world, we cannot let fear and hatred divide us, that's not who we are. We are Muslim, Christian, Atheist, Pastafarian, Sikh, Jewish, Hindu, and so much more, but we are ALL Canadian. Never forget that.
