Вам необходимо заменить в оригинальной папке "zoeoe_knitting_v1.5" файл zoeoe_knitting_knittingBag и zoeoe_knitting_resources, иначе вы не увидите изменений.

I’ve been busy with work and studies lately, so I don’t really have time for big mods. Still, I wanted to make something small but useful — a mod that shows the exact numerical values of sliders in CAS.
DOWNLOAD
With DXVK and S3SS living their high days, older Sims 3 installment guides are rapidly starting to become outdated. So here's a brand new and up-to-date step-by-step guide to go through when you do a fresh install of your game that will help you get the best performance you could possibly imagine for this old and laggy gem of a game.
Have Sims 3 installed, but is it performing abhorrently? I highly recommend a fresh install. You don't have to delete your saves or mods. Just get yourself a fresh bin to work with by uninstalling, going into your program files The Sims 3 folder and deleting any remnant files still in there. Then follow my guide!
All of the steps to follow are below the line ->
Step 1: install your game through your respected platform.
Just follow the regular steps and install the game without adding any other stuff yet whatsoever.
(I personally have a legit copy of the Sims 3 on Steam. If you use another app and have any questions, I'll probably not be able to help you.)
Step 2: run the game once through the official launcher. Once you get to the main menu, you can quit again.
It is very important you run your game through the original launcher at least once after installing it. Not doing so can cause problems with programs like CC magic. You only need to do it the first time. After that, we'll be skipping the launcher entirely.
Step 3: Create a short cut of TS3W.exe on your desktop.
You'll be skipping the launcher from now on. This helps with performance and it starts up your game much faster. It is also important to do this because of DXVK.
You can find TS3W.exe in your bin folder. For me (Steam version) it's in this location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
Right click TS3W.exe, click 'show more options' and choose 'create a shortcut'. Place this shortcut on your desktop and Run Sims 3 from there from now on.
Step 4: Run the GPU Add-on Support patcher
You can find this patcher here. It is essential to run this because Sims will otherwise not recognize your graphics card unless it's over 10 years old. This patcher helps to get your GPU recognized.
The patcher will create a new Graphicsrules.sgr and new Graphicscards.sgr for you in your bin folder. After installing this, you can move the ones that have _old behind them somewhere else (or delete them).
P.S.: if you pirate your game you'll have to do this manually, there's guides online for it but since I have a legit copy I can't help you here.
Step 5: Install DXVK
Make sure you follow this guide by Nornite and do every single step. Don't skip anything!
I'd say DXVK is pretty essential nowadays, especially if you have a modern graphics card with 6GB of VRAM or higher. It'll greatly help to keep your game stable and can prevent a lot of crashes. The way Dxvk works, is that it loads textures through your VRAM instead of your RAM. Especially when you use a lot of CC or HD textures, this will make a huge difference for your RAM usage. Sims 3 can only use 4GB of RAM at once and will start crashing once you hit the 3GB mark in your task manager. With DXVK, you will use a lot less RAM and it'll take much longer for your game to reach this hard cap.
When not to install DXVK: if you have a shitty GPU (like an integrated graphics card on a laptop, or one with 4GB of VRAM or less).
Step 5: Start up the game
Use your new desktop shortcut that also has 'run as administrator' permissions now if you followed the DXVK guide properly.
Step 6: set up all your settings through the ingame options menu
The best graphics settings for you will highly depend on what computer you're using. But there are some things you should always turn off because they negatively affect performance. I will share my (relevant) settings with you (I use a custom UI so your screen style will look a little different from mine). Click on the images to enlarge them so you can read them:
Things of note about these settings:
I recommend you play in windowed mode, especially if you plan to use ReShade. Playing fullscreen is possible, but it does make Reshade presets behave differently in your game. I will include a step in this guide that you can follow to play windowed borderless. So, when you plan to do this: make sure you set the resolution to your display resolution.
Enable object hiding helps with performance. Advanced rendering is essential because otherwise your game looks like absolute shit.
Set your High Detail Lots to any value between 2 and 4. Don't go lower or higher, because you'll get rendering issues that lag out your game.
All other graphics settings can be set to your heart's desire. I'd say start with the highest settings and only go down if you notice your frames per second are bad.
Disable shop mode and lessons and fully disable memories or use this mod to severly limit them. Disable interactive loading screens as well. These are all performance eaters. Interactive loading screen also causes crashes. Memories also don't do anything for your sim, it's just a scrap book with no in-game effects.
Disable any online mode feature. This also lags out your game. Unless you really want to use these features it's best to just play fully offline.
Save your settings, close the game again.
Step 7: Install Sims 3 Settings Setter
This is the most recent magic genie that Sims 3 was blessed with. Especially combined with DXVK it is a life changer. Installing it is simple. You download the most recent version here and drop the .asi file in your bin. Also grab 'wininet.dll' from here and drop that one in your bin too.
Start up your game and load up a save. Once you're inside your save, you press 'insert' to open up the menu for Sims 3 Settings Setter. Go to the 'patches' tab and enable what you like. These are my enabled patches and they all work really well for me, but feel free to experiment with them to find your own performance sweet spot:
Only enable uncompressed textures if you have a GPU with at least 8gb of VRAM. My game will use over 6gb of VRAM easily with this enabled, so you've been warned.
Once you have everything you desire enabled, press 'file' in the top left corner and click 'save settings'.
Step 7.5: if you're playing windowed mode: go into the Other/QoL tab and enable 'Borderless Window'. Set it to 'Full Screen'.
Save your settings and close your game again. No need to save the game you entered for this unless you want to.
Step 8: Install Nraas Errortrap, MasterController and Overwatch
These 3 mods by Nraas are pretty much essential to keep your game from breaking down in the long run. You can download the mods here. Have you never installed a mod for Sims 3 before? Here's a guide (skip the part about Sims3pack and go straight to the part where it explains how to install .package mods).
That's it! You can now play The Sims 3 and it'll be as smooth and stable as it'll ever be. From here on, you can stock your game with more mods and CC (check out my mods masterlist!), or you can install Reshade (here's a guide).
Some important things to keep in mind while playing:
Clean up your game regularly. You can easily do this by using Regul Save Cleaner.
When you install a new mod or update/change Sims 3 Settings Setter, always restart and clear your caches.
Use CC Magic for installing CC, because it merges your files and this really helps with performance. Here's a handy guide on how to use it. Don't put your script mods in here, just your CC.
If you plan to travel to vacation destinations in the EP World Adventures, Nraas Traveler is a must to prevent most of the bugs and crashes that happen in this expansion.
Always keep in mind: mods and corrupt CC can still break your game, make it laggy or unplayable. Always be mindful of the mods you add, so you can always trace any issues you're having back to the mod causing it. I highly recommend not downloading a ton of mods in one session, but adding them step by step and see what they do to your games performance.
Use 'Reset the entire town' from Nraas MasterController at least every other sim week. It'll help clear up any lag that happens because of NPC sims getting themselves stuck routing or annoying stuff like that.
Got a slow CAS? Use Nraas MasterController Compact mode! (Make sure you have the Nraas MasterController Integration module installed).
Navigate to NRaas > MasterController > Settings > CAS.
Set the following to True:
Show in Compact Form: Accessories
Show in Compact Form: Clothing
Show in Compact Form: Hats
______________________________________________________________
Hi!
I was setting up a store and wanted to tell you about the mod I use.
I think the Merchant mod by @anitmb is underrated!
At least, I hardly see anyone using it here on Tumblr. (But that's not certain.)
The Sims 2 had a wonderfully implemented business, but in The Sims 3, we were given only silly scraps of rugs for sale that didn't even work properly.
The Merchant mod is a good alternative for starting your own business if your Sim is a businessman at heart. Or you just prefer to buy the items you need from the store rather than from the shopping catalog.
This mod is very easy to set up and very fun to trade with.
_____________________________________________________________
______________________________________________________________
Here are a few business ideas you can try.
Paintings created by your Sim's artist.
Sculptures and inventions.
If your Sim is a skilled mechanic, why not upgrade various items (appliances, plumbing, etc.) and sell them at a premium?
Flowers collected from the wild.
Toys, glassware, jewelry, and perfumes crafted with tools from the store.
You can sell prepared food, such as pizza, sweet pastries, or unhealthy fast food from a deep fryer.
Flower bouquets or knitted toys created with mods.
You can also sell crops lovingly grown by your Sim at the market, or agricultural goods (milk from a cow, eggs from a chicken).
Note: When selling prepared food, only the plate the food is on should be marked for sale, not the food itself.

This mod is a conversion of the fog emitter from The Sims 3 for The Sims Medieval.
The mod adds a VFX generator object to the game, primarily intended for testing visual effects.
In addition to its technical purpose, the fog generator can also be used to create atmospheric scenes and screenshots.
A separate list of visual effects available in The Sims Medieval is included and can be used with this object.
Link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/mxz4njh4xbajcfo/TSM_effect_names.txt/file
An option to move the object up and down has also been added.
To use this mod, the Command Center by @mariacherry is required.
The object can be found in Build Mode, in the Color category.
[TSM][TUTORIAL][EXPERIMENTAL] Adding Workarounds for Custom Objects
When creating new objects or converting items from The Sims 3, you may encounter a problem: Sims can walk through these objects. This happens due to differences in the architecture of TSM and TS3.
In The Sims Medieval, object walkaround behavior is handled via a NavMesh, which is stored in a separate resource
(Type: 0xC80A5A67). Unfortunately, at the moment, s3pe does not have a plugin for this type of resource, and there is no publicly available description of its structure (at least, I haven’t been able to find one). Therefore, directly unpacking or assembling such a file is not possible.
In this tutorial, we will use a small trick to make custom objects walkaround-friendly, so Sims will navigate around them without directly editing the NavMesh.
Requirements:
s3pe
For the example, I will use a chair from the wonderful “Happy Halloween!” set by @leebbi04
First, we need to find a donor object that is as similar as possible to our custom item in terms of:
functionality,
size,
the number of tiles it occupies.
This is important because later we will use the donor’s NavMesh for our custom object.
If the donor is larger than the custom object, Sims simply won’t be able to approach it correctly or interact with it.
For this tutorial, I will use the following chair as the donor:
Step 2. Locating the Donor Resource in the Game Files
For this, we’ll use s3pe and open the corresponding game package file.
⚠️ Note: file paths and names may vary depending on your game version and installation method.
After opening the appropriate file in s3pe, set up the bottom filter panel:
In the ResourceType field, enter:
0xC80A5A67
Optionally, you can enter a value in the Name field — in my case, it’s chairLiving. This helps narrow down the list of resources and makes it faster to find the donor.
If the correct resource name is unknown, you’ll need to browse the resources manually without using the Name filter.
Make sure to check the corresponding boxes next to the filter fields you are using.
Click Set.
Finally, activate the filter by checking Filter active.
As a result, we get a list of matching resources.
I’ll skip the process of determining exactly which resource belongs to the object. In our case, the appropriate resource turned out to be chairLivingTassle.
Now we need to remember or write down the following resource parameters:
Type
Group
Instance
For the selected resource, the values are as follows:
Type: 0xC80A5A67
Group: 0x00000000
Instance: 0x1AA517945D59D2CD
Step 3. Adding a Donor NavMesh Reference to the Custom Object
Open the package file of your custom object in s3pe and locate the resource with TAG: VPXY.
Next:
Right-click on the resource.
From the context menu, select Edit VPXY.
In the window that opens, click the TGI Blocks… button in the bottom-left corner.
In the new window, click the Add button.
In the right-hand section of the window, enter the required values for the donor resource:
Type
Group
Instance
After entering the data, click Save to apply the changes and return to the previous window.
In this window, click the Add Part button.
In the dropdown menu of the newly added empty object, select the donor resource (our NavMesh).
Make sure that our custom object is the last item; if it isn’t, move it to the last position.
After selecting the donor resource, click Save to apply the changes.
Once the previous steps are completed, a Commit Changes confirmation window will appear.
Click Yes to apply the changes to the file.
After confirming the changes (Commit Changes), press Ctrl + S to save all modifications to the package file.
This concludes the tutorial, and you can now proceed to testing in the game. If the object was already placed, simply enter Build Mode, pick it up, and place it back in the same spot. This allows the game to reload the updated NavMesh, and Sims will navigate around the object correctly.
In-Game Test:
Important:
The method described in this guide is experimental. I cannot guarantee that it will work correctly with all custom objects. Therefore, after making any changes, be sure to test everything thoroughly to ensure that Sims navigate around the object properly and without any unexpected issues 👀✨
Special Thanks:
To the creator of the “Happy Halloween!” @leebbi04
Перевод модов «Put Away All Books» & «Store All Fish and Harvestables at Once» от treeag

In this tutorial, we will go through the process of creating a custom skin for The Sims Medieval. Here, we’ll focus specifically on how to load the textures so that the skintone appears correctly in-game and the sliders work properly.
Required:
Skininator V5.0 — used to create and export skin packages.
Skintone Base Maps — a set of extracted base map textures provided for convenience (you can also extract them yourself).
Four texture files per gender:
Body
Scalp
Face
Face with blemishes
Optional:
ScrollBarForSkintonePanel — a mod I created that adds a scrollbar to the skintone selection panel. It’s completely optional; you can still scroll using your mouse wheel if you prefer.
Notation
To make the tutorial easier to follow, we will use the following abbreviations:
am — adult male
af — adult female
blemish — the standard EA term for a texture with imperfections.
For males, this usually refers to stubble.
For females, this usually refers to blush.
These notations will be used throughout the tutorial when referring to specific textures or skin elements.
Preparing Your Textures
For this tutorial, I’ve already prepared a set of textures to work with. They include all four necessary files for both genders: body, scalp, face, and face with blemishes. I simply tinted some of the standard skintones — for males, I used an aquamarine color, and for females, a purple shade.
It’s important to create textures for both genders, because skintones in The Sims Medieval are not separated by gender. If you make a custom skintone for only one gender, it will appear broken or incomplete on the other.
Tutorial
Now that we have our textures prepared and all necessary tools ready, it’s time to create a custom skin. First, make sure to extract Skintone Base Maps files you’ll be using. Having the files extracted in a convenient folder will make it easier to locate and import them into Skininator.
From here, we’ll go through the process of setting up your custom skin in Skininator — importing your prepared textures and saving the finished skin package.
First, open Skininator and select type: advanced non-default.
Next, assign a name to your new skintone — for this tutorial, we’ll use Test Skintone
Then, switch to the TONE Setting tab and check the box next to Use Old Version Format.
Next, switch to the Tone Ramps tab. Here, you need to load two files: a DDS Tone Ramp and a PNG Tone Thumbnail.
You can either use the ones extracted from The Sims 3, which are included on the Skininator download page, or create your own. The DDS Tone Ramp should be a 64×64 pixel file, and the PNG Tone Thumbnail should also be 64×64 pixels.
The PNG thumbnail will appear as the icon representing your skintone in the skintone panel
Now, switch to the Adult tab. This is the most delicate part of the process, as it’s crucial to load the textures correctly.
For each slot, select the appropriate texture from your extracted archive or your own custom files. For clarity in the screenshots, I’ll refer to the folder where the archive was extracted as archive.
To load a texture, click Import next to the Type field for the corresponding slot, then select the file .
Male Section:
For the Female section, the process is exactly the same.
Female Section:
After you’ve finished loading all the necessary textures, go to File and select Save As. Give your package a name — for this tutorial, you could use something like Test Skintone — and save it.
Next, move the saved package into your Mods folder. Once it’s in place, you can launch the game and test your custom skintone to see how it looks in action.
If you used my ScrollBarForSkintonePanel mod, a scrollbar will appear when new skintones are added. And here’s the final result — my custom skintones with fully working sliders in-game
In the original game, all children have identical faces. This mod edits the FACE files (faceblends), making bones and morphs available for children, allowing most adult face sliders to be used. It doesn’t work perfectly, but it’s better than having no variation at all.
⚠️ Important:
Not all sliders work perfectly, but most do.
Since these are original adult sliders, they are inheritable, but sometimes they may look unusual on children. This happens rarely.
Children in village will mostly retain their default faces, as their appearance was never customized in the original game.

A Sims 3 Challenge for the crazy dramatic and chaotic sims 3 is known and loved for! Idk i was bored and needed a challenge that fully hit my needs and thats it!
