Homeland Miniset 🇵🇭

As a way of celebrating my country's Independence Day last week, I looked for objects that best represent the common household in my homeland and put them in a screenshot. And as promised, here's some of them, now up for download.

Chair is resized to about 20% smaller, to avoid clipping in some dining table legs. Same one channel with an improved multiplier and removed the occluders. Price, catalog location, and in-game name/description remain unchanged.

2to3 "'The Measure of a Sim' Wooden Model"

This iconic TS2 object made it to University Life but sadly lost most of its detail, so now here it is in its original form (at the cost of a higher polycount though). Four channels, costs §100. Found in Decor > Sculptures, misc. Also comes in a slightly smaller version (to match the size of the UL counterpart).

Decades "Low Wider Lounger" edit

Removed the foot rest and raised higher to function as a living chair. Three channels, costs §550, found in Comfort > Living chairs.

Patrons are receiving another update, but this time with new sofas from Late Night: HERE

The old parish house, former residence of the clergy in charge of the city and now a guest house for esteemed guests of the church authorities. The old building was rebuilt in the 1800s into a magnificent structure with clear Moorish influences popular around the time. Surprisingly, this wasn't enough to have the people in charge move back in. The collection of art within it and the church does make it an attractive place to visit. This is clearly not a backstory meant to explain why the people in charge just don't live right next to the church as they would in real life due to a limitation in the way The Sims games handle community lots.

The parish house is a significant improvement I made on the older version and is inspired by two real world buildings in Manila's old city, Intramuros: The Augustinian Provincial House (today the ECJ building, which I did try to build once) and the Jesuit Convent (today the Museo de Intramuros). Both structures were destroyed during the closing days of World War II but were rebuilt with their facades mostly reminiscent of the original buildings several decades later. I took pictures!

Initially, I didn't plan on playing in Sunset Valley for long, but I added a few Showtime venues, nonetheless.

I edited the binned Performance Park to create an enclosed space for the Proprietor.

I created my own Coffeehouse (30x30 lot) because the binned lot is such an awkward size.
