I want a game that uses Disco Elysium's same insanely well crafted narrative system and wonderful writing but it's about a young witch trying to solve the disappearance of her neighbor's cat in a small village in the Alps, and also Measurehead is there.

Everyone overrates the idea of a piece of art being “anticapitalist”. both the people that think Apple TV could possibly have something smart to say and the people that think Apple TV would never ever have something smart to say. The bare truth is that “anti capitalist” is not politically coherent but it’s also a real cry of desperation from artists that live in capitalism and have feelings about it.

Some very annoying Mao types would say that this is a worthless act of petty individualism. neither of these strains of thought are germane to my truth, that this is kind of the inevitable result of someone with an intellect and a lot of things to say being forced to express herself under conditions of duress.

one of the most annoying ripple effects of fandom culture is the way so many people can’t seem to keep it in perspective that at the end of the day they’re just talking about art. it feels like i am trapped between people who are like “if you dare criticize the thing i like you are basically personally coming into my house and stealing my dog and shooting my jewelry” and people who are like “global communism is being stopped from succeeding because steven universe is on the air.” and call me a centrist but i don’t think either of those things are true
