More characters from my project. The Basic Attack Drone or B.A.D. line of robots were the backbone of the Brotherhood of the Cog (The Cog for short). The Cog began deploying the B.A.D. s at the beginning of the war. Standard armaments include a type 3 9mm sub machine gun and type 1 combat knife. A triple ion thruster mounted to the back grants about an hour of flight with no recharge. The B.A.D. would not be upgraded or replaced through the entirety of the conflict. However multiple sub types do exist and were deployed in number. The sniper type is a very simple variant. Given a head with c1 targeting camera and a type 4 over arm sniper cannon. Overall decent at long range combat but sub par in close quarters. It was rarely deployed without a group of standard B.A.D.s. The production of sniper types is estimated to be a quarter of what the standard type was. The high speed type is a strange case. It's prototype used an experimental quad ion thruster for propulsion. However the standard frame was unable to steer such a force resulting in catastrophic failure. The production units resorted to the standard triple ion thruster mounted to the back and shoulders. Early tests discovered the speed required better visual navigation so a sniper type head was added. This means depending on loadout the high speed type can perform close and long ranged attacks. Despite going into mass production it's total unit count was only half of the sniper type.
