Ive had Medic Marshall in my brain sm lately.
Think about it.. The most clumsy pup - aka the one most likely to get hurt and accidentally cause physical injuries to others - is the _medic_ . On an emergency/rescue team nonetheless!! The jobs gotta be never ending realistically speaking.....
I imagine his frequent bumping into things, stepping on sharp objects and falling on his knees and paws repeatedly is what first taught him basic first aid. Just watching Ryder (or other medical personnel(?)) attend to his minor rashes, cuts, n bruises got him at par with standard procedure - and eventually his interest and knowledge was far built enough to really train up for the role.
On an angstier note I bet he felt like he would 'finally be of more use' - i imagine Marshalls fairly insecure about how easy he ends up hurting his close ones with his clutz curse and learning how to atleast take care of the aftermath would make him feel more competent.... even if he does cause an injury - he will do everything he can to take care of them and ensure that they recover just fine.. He'd be so soft hearted, he's really trying his best out here... He cant undo or control his clumsiness but he _can_ do his best to clean up his messes, yeah? Nobody is un-cared for under Marshalls watch... 🥺💕

If you have a very loved plush, you might be familiar with scratched and/or dull eyes. Whether it's from dropping them, brushing the fur, or just general wear, I’m here to tell you how to make them look brand new!
Things you will need:
Sandpaper (multiple grits, up to 5000 or 7000, I started with 2000 as that's what my pack came with as the roughest one)
Headlight polishing paste (you can get this at spare car part & all things for cars stores, possibly hardware stores, or Amazon)
A rag
Time!
1. Wipe the surface of their eyes to clean off any debris.
2. Start sanding! Don't be afraid to get really rough. You need to get all the crevices so it's gonna be a bit tedious and very time consuming (took me about 40 minutes total?). It's gonna look very, very scary at first like you've messed up, but trust the process (unfortunately did not take photos during the very scary part; this is after the second to last round of it)
3. After you're sure you've done a thorough job with the first grit, start with the second one, but wipe the eyes with a rag inbetween.
4. Repeat that until you get to the finest sandpaper! Make sure to do it in good lighting and really check after using each one that there are no scratches left from the previous one. If needed, repeat with a coarser one and again finer. I had to go back from 5000 to 3000 as I missed a spot, and then 5000 again.
5. Polish! Put a tiny amount of the paste on the eyes, and using a clean rag, rub in circles. It might not seem like it's doing much, but keep rubbing it in; it should start to make a squeaky noise and that's how you know it's getting shinier. This is the one I've used as it's the smallest tube I could find and cost me 8€.
And you've made it! Your friend now has shinier, brand new-looking eyes, and can see much clearly :) they thought the sandpaper was tickling and did not mind the process at all!
thank god i didnt go to the therian hangout at my city. apparently some people from my college planned to go see if any therians showed up (to bully them presumably), and one of my roommates mentioned wanting to go bc they were curious. i hear the word therian everyday on the street now, and never in a good light. literally rn im hearing two classmates mocking them two seats behind me. i hate this. i hate all of this. its legitimately dangerous to be openly alterhuman these days, therian children are being picked up on the streets and getting beaten up. AI generated videos are everywhere, and apparently everyone has seen at least one of them. i had to hide some of my drawings in my room that depicted my 'types and cover up all the theta deltas i had. this will pass, but jesus christ. im so scared.
It's vital right now that you, yes you, therian - even if you are an adult - do NOT join any 'therian meet ups' which aren't arranged by therians you directly know and have spoken to for a long time. Even then do not go in gear, not even a theta delta, until you know it's safe. This is advice especially for any therian in Spain and some places in Latin America but is also good advice across the board. Unfortunately, until we stop being a target you are at risk of being assaulted and that isn't worth the possibility of meeting other therians irl.
