i think part of the reason early contact sebaciel appeals to me so much is that they're just at their respective worsts

early contract ciel's trauma runs him to the ground daily. he wears gloves everywhere to avoid direct skin contact, forbids fires in his room even in deep winter because he can't stand the smell of smoke, throws up after almost every meal, insists on "checking" the entirety of the estate every evening before he can even try to go to sleep...
