Dominic Monaghan, Billy Boyd, Elijah Wood and Viggo Mortensen all taking the piss out of Orlando Bloom for going on about a cracked rib too much, while Orlando Bloom desperately tries to wriggle out of talking about it (special mention to Elijah Wood’s “oh it hurts, babes, and I can’t ride the horse, babes” and Viggo Mortensen’s “they can be very fragile, elves, especially the…Mirkwood strain…”)

Viggo Mortensen talking about how, while filming with those same boats, Kirin Shaw (Elijah Wood’s scale double) started telling him “if the boat tips over…save yourself…I can’t swim.”

You will never beat a problem out of yourself. Lots of people who hate themselves have tried, and all of them are equally convinced that they're the first human being who will finally make it work. They treat themselves the same way that people they despise treat others, and then they're surprised they don't have any self respect. Why would they? I've never respected anyone who treats people like shit. But swinging to the opposite extreme of pretending you're the bees knees and sucking your own dick doesn't do shit either.

If you go to bed early instead of staying up to watch Netflix, that's not pretending your problem of staying up doesn't exist. It's the opposite. It's not nice to tell yourself to go the fuck to bed instead of watching your favourite show but it is good for you, and if you do fuck up and can barely function the next day it is the good thing to understand that you can't make a miracle happen when you're sleep deprived, so you go easy on yourself and resolve to go to bed early the next night. There is zero reason to treat people who have problems like shit, so there's no reason to do it to yourself either.
