Heya! This is maybe a totally random question, but several years ago now, I bought a knitting project bag from your shop. I've been using it consistently ever since, I absolutely love it, but I was wondering: would it be safe to machine wash or submerge handwash it? I've just been doing spot cleaning but like I said it's been several years and it's been through a lot. I don't know what stiffens the bottom so I didn't want to accidentally ruin it! (thanks in advance!)

Oh yeah, it’s cotton and the bottom is just stiff interfacing. I’ve put it in the washing machine before and it’s come out fine (just not too hot water). If the bottom gets creased or doesn’t stick as it does before, just use a hot iron to re-activate the glue.

And line dry or pay flat to dry.

If you’re nervous or your washing machine is aggressive, hand washing is totally fine too. I just let it soak in detergent for a bit and then rinse it out. (I usually only do that for the fabric with gold appliqué though)

Managed to use up most of the balls with plenty of solid orange left over for tassels! I decided to wet block it so I could better shape it during blocking. I definately didn’t get precious about getting the edges nice & straight either 😂
