Okay. I know I have like four other stories, but I’m an idiot. Anyway. I FINALLY. FINALLY HAVE STARTED ARROWS STORY(yell at me ik)
But…I fucking love it. It has the plot of the character but the stupidity of Arrow(he’s just a socially awkward bean)

This is the right place right?
I think I’m in the right place. King Meliodas sent me this way a few weeks ago, I’d never seen it in person, plus I suck at directions, so for all we know I could be closer to Benwick then The Fairy Kings Forest
Oh god now I’m second guessing
Last I checked that’s in the exact opposite direction
“Hey human.” Hazel hair, blue suit, fairy wings
Yep I’m in the right place
“Right place for what?”
Fuck stop thinking out loud, he can read your mind- Fuck!
“Answer me.” I finally made eye contact with whoever was standing, or well floating ahead of me
“I’ve been sent here to meet with a certain individual.” His hazel eyes flickered with something I couldn’t read at the calmness in my voice, standing in front of someone with such power, yet not even flinching at that steady grip on that spear, or whatever it was
Who is this kid?
I felt a smirk pull at my lips, my mind reading abilities have picked up since I arrived in Liones, I couldn’t exactly practice with Gowther since he’s a doll
Well duh Arrow
“So Arrow’s your name huh? Tell me Arrow, who sent you here?”
Stupid Stupid Stupid, control your thoughts
“For someone so small you wield that spear life you’ve fought more the you could explain.” I slapped my hand over my mouth instantly
Just my mouth
I thought I was dead, I mean those daggers at my waist meant nothing if I had no idea who this guy was, the only advantage I had is that he never hid his thoughts
Then again I never hid mine either
I thought I was screwed, that I was gonna get scolded for messing up again, just like I used to by
Them
Instead he just smirked and landed down on the grass in front of me, spear pointed at my chest, this wasn’t just a normal spear, it was made of magic, it had a soft glow to it, like it chose him
“You’re weird for a human. Now I’ll ask one last time, who sent you here? Was it Arthur? A Chaos Knight Perhaps?” I followed his movements, feeling him circle me with that spear raised, whoever this was wasn’t just a kid, he was a warrior
“Arthur? God no. I was sent here by the King Of Liones. Ring any bells?” His stepped faltered and that smirk fell
Captain
Did he just say Captain?
That just mean-
“I’m the Sin Of Sloth, Halequin, yet you can call me King.” His voice was softer the before, more trusting, it caught me off guard, I knew Meliodas was the leader of The Seven Deadly Sin, but I had no clue the boy in front of me had that much of status
Explains the grip on the spear
Also explains the magic force he gives off
“That explains a lot.” He smirked, pulling his spear back away from my chest, I no longer felt that tip against my skin
“Sorry for attacking you and all.” I smiled up at him, which was now floating again
Just gotta prove a point with how short I am huh?
He laughed down at me, a gentle yet full sound, completely different from the boy- or well man who just threatened me. “I don’t think you’re that short.” I rolled my eyes, I mean it was true, I was always the shortest out of everyone, yet it was something I’d come to expect
“You’re fine. You were just protecting this place, it makes sense.” I said softly, still annoyed by the short comment but whatever, I didn’t let that show
“So…What did Capta-Meliodas send you here for?”
Oh god here comes that embarrassing explanation
“It can’t be that stupid. Then again it’s Meliodas we’re talking about.” I chuckled under my breath, it was nervous, embarrassing and stupid. I was never good at social interaction, I always stayed in the shadows, not wanting to interact with anyone, the only person I really knew was Gowther, and even then he saved me so I owe him.
I always forget he can read my mind
“Yep. And off of what you said earlier, I suppose you can too?” I sighed softly and finally looked him in those hazel eyes, my heterocromic blue and amber eyes staring back into his
“Yes. I can. I’ve never met anyone who could, I knew the fairy race had that ability, but I’m no fairy.” He glanced at him all confused, understandable, normally only fairies had the ability to read people thoughts, yet I wasn’t even close to a fairy
That’s strange
“Indeed it is.” I muttered softly, my short black hair blowing gently in the wind, falling more into my eyes by the minute
“Anyway. What were you saying about why you came here?” He changed the topic quick, understandably, story for another time I guess
“Oh uh…I-I well…I don’t exactly have a place I can stay full time. And Liones is kinda full because of the whole thing happening with Camelot right now. So he told me to come talk to you…” I rubbed the back of my neck, keeping my eyes glued to the ground, it was embarrassing and incredibly awkward asking for something like that after all this
Especially after he tried to attack me
“Again. I’m sorry for that, as you know I was just trying to keep this forest safe, it’s hard to trust humans after the attacks of Chaos knights.” I nodded, it made sense, even though I’m not human I still look human. Human enough to pass as one, other than the magic force I give off which he has yet to ask about thankfully
“I understand, I mean you do rule over this place, it’s your home. I understand wanting to protect something you hold dear.”
I really do
“You may stay, but may I ask, do you have something like that?” I gasped, feeling my face go hot, a nervous smile pulling at my lips
Wasn’t expecting that one
“I’ll take that as a yes?” He smiled softly, it wasn’t a tease, almost curious and sweet
I guess everyone has a soft side
“I-I…Yeah…” I muttered, glancing away and hiding my face with my hand, it was still awkward to talk about, the fact that I liked him still after all these years was crazy
He probably doesn’t even remember me anyway
I saw that look in his eyes, a look of curiosity, concern even, yet he didn’t question it, and I was beyond grateful for whatever reason it was
“Anyway…like I said, yes you can stay in one of those wooden houses down that way.” I nodded, seeing him gesture down a path through the lush trees and beautiful greens. “But I will say…if you see a younger looking fairy with golden wings…j-just watch out. She can be a little…mischievous for a lack of better words.” I glanced back up, curious yet confused, I kinda wanna know
Yet another part doesn’t want to know at all
“You’ll just have to see.” I sighed, of course he was being all cryptic
It’s never that simple huh?
“Nope. Oh yeah. There’s another boy, little taller than you, blonde hair, red eyes. I wanted to apologize just in case. He can be a little…closed up compared to the rest of us. He’s never been on to show how he feels.” I nodded, not to big of a problem, I mean I’ve dealt with some like that before. Tough outside, and sometimes a warmer inside
“How will I know who to look out for?” He began to float away, yet he looked over he shoulder one last time
“You’ll know. Trust me.” I glanced up at him one last time as I he floated away, leaving me alone
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I finally made it
Only took like ten minutes
Every house looks the same
Yet there adorable at the same time
I put my jacket on the hook behind the door, not afraid now that I’m alone, sighing as I sit myself down in the windowsill in the bedroom, the sunset setting a soft glow over the place. Grabbing a random book off a shelf
Maybe it’ll have some answers
I flipped the book open with a soft sigh, brushing the tips of my black hair out of my eyes
Maybe it’ll will have some answers
Okay anyway, if you guys like what I post can someone leave any idication. A like, comment. Anything, cuz if no one likes them I won’t post them anymore, but if you do, you gotta tell me that somehow, I unfortunately can’t pull a Lancelot and read y’all’s minds. So you gotta tell me. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed, I’ll have another chapter out soon(I’m trying to set up a schedule) so uhh…yeah. Feedback plz
