SIDE NOTE all of my main OC lore is set in my own TF universe but there's no crazy difference between the general canon soup we have

Tempest was born in Praxus, to two very fundamentalist (and future Decepticon) parents. Her upbringing definitely didn't have any negative effects on her at all. They were born before the start of the war, but her teens were spend being pressured to enlist for the cause. Eventually she did, and Tempest rose in the ranks quickly, becoming known for her efficiency and endurance. However, they were becoming discontent with the direction the Decepticons were going- finally getting away from her parents and getting to develop their own viewpoints.

At this tumultuous time in their life, Tempest met Glowworm, an Autobot scientist-in-training who was not what Tempest thought an autobot would be like, having never really talked to one in depth outside of battle in a long, long time. Glowworm was talkative, brash, excited, and beautiful. Thats right, I can't help it. I need my yuri. The two continued meeting up in secret, until Tempest almost got killed in a battle and realised they needed to do the right thing before it was too late. Stealing as much intel as their station allowed, Tempest defected. She met with Glowworm, who vouched for her and the intel helped end the war.

Tempest changed her name to Comet, and got a new alt mode and paint to suit her Autobot status. When offered to remove her claws and red optics, Comet denied. She felt that the stigma around typically con features should be removed, especially now the war was over and factions shouldn't matter.

And of course the yuri got together <3 oh i love them <3

A while after the war ended, Glowworm was offered a place on a small academic ship by a close friend. Comet tagged along, and that's how she met the rest of my gang (oh my babies i love my ocs).
