I hate that like 99% of GLaDOS's fanbase is just people who want her carnally, like don't get me wrong I find her attractive too but I feel like she deserves fans who aren't just simps for her :/

Another GLaDOS related pet peeve I have are her gijinkas, I don't really like the idea of robot gijinkas because I feel like you can't really emulate the essence of the character in something that isn't a robot (maybe that's just my robot hyperfixation) but I feel like GLaDOS gijinkas just try really hard to make her hot and cool looking, I do agree that she's both of those things but it feels like they can't tell WHY she's hot and cool. They completely miss that scary unsettling atmosphere she has that made her attractive (my personal theory you're free to disagree with)

also all of portalblr is just people shipping chell with everyone and talking about how much they want GLaDOS or wheatley to eat them out and I hate it do you guys know how to appreciate a character without being extremely horny about it or is that all you care about, neanderthal

I just beat Portal 1 and during the GLaDOS boss fight I was panicking and accidentally said "I need her" completely on accident. That was the first time something like that has EVER happened to me, it literally just slipped out of my mouth, try to think of those insufferable scenes in media where the character says something wrong in the cartooniest, most insufferable way ever. Basically that. (It definitely wasn't because her voice without the morality core was making me feel a certain way. My brain was probably scrambling and mixed two different sentences together, or something.)
