Literally don’t mind me

So each of us had our little fancast in our heads and maybe the real cast doesn't match up exactly to what we had in mind. But ya'll, we have to remember that this is an actual production. They had to cast actors that looked like the characters but who could also play the roles. At some point, they had to make a decision. Think about it, would you rather an actor look exactly like how you pictured a character in your head but could not portray said character in a way that does them justice, or would you rather an actor have slight differences with a character but be able to play them like what's written on paper? Sure it would be fantastic that they all looked exactly how we pictured them but we can't expect everything to be perfect. If Leigh was involved in casting, then I trust her decisions about the cast and I understand that she probably had to make sacrifices so that her characters (that she wrote and probably loves more than any of us do) were well represented.
