although worth mentioning that google translate can only give you a clinical—sometimes soulless—translation of what happens in the fic, but you’ll miss the ways the author pours their heart and passion into the fic. so that’s why I don’t use a translation tool for fic reading and only read fics that’s in the language I know. I’m also here for the author’s writing style and that’s not something google can translate. but if that’s not that big of a deal to you (to most people it’s not, I’m just picky) then go ahead. people have told me they use google translate to read my fics and I’ve always been flattered.
