another "ban homeschooling" post on my dash Ok. so i don't think we can do that until we fix normal school. is the thing. because i KNOW it fucked me up to not be able to in person socialize with people my age but also if i was in public school there is a solid chance i would be dead. i am a weird edge case. weird edge cases like me will continue to exist. "it fucks up EVERYONE who goes through it. it must be banned" sure it fucked me up. public school would have fucked me up more. "i had probably the best possible homeschool experience and it still stunted my social skills" my social skills may be stunted but im not dead or in a constant state of reality obliterating mental breakdown and trust me when i say that was the alternative. there would be no way to make the school system as it currently exists physically bearable for me. they tried. i went to a good school. everything in anyone's power went right and this is still better than the alternative. in a perfect world i wouldn't have to settle for "less bad" but this is not a perfect world. you cannot blanket ban all homeschooling until you have completely reformed the education system such that cases like mine no longer exist. fuckk

pretty much everything was smoke and mirrors and we show you everything you can do with it. so, if you had it, it would probably break instantly. so, it's not very practical to share.
the second reason is because i don't want it to actually be in the game. i like the game as it is now [about the new areas.] it's basically just a what if. But this what if was always there. it never wasn't there and it will never not be there. every monster has to have a place to go home to. every monster has to have friends. they have to something to eat, somewhere to go hang out. the underground is a wide place. the only limit to all of this is your imagination. my goal with these days wasn't to show you a new hidden truth you will never be able to access. my goal is to remind you that you have always been able to go if you just hold the key of asking what's there, what's under the bridge, what's beyond the horizon. maybe you guys feel only my answer to these questions counts or matters. but to me, i only feel the opposite. this is just one interpretation. the underground is as big as you want it to be, and I invite you to come behind the wall with me.

it does piss me off a little how the pokemon fanbase started viewing convergent species as basically a new type of form to give pkmn. which it is NOT! it is based off a REAL PHENOMENON! and it made me smile REALLY BIG AND WIDE when wiglett was first revealed because it was a wonderful and awesome demonstration of this phenomenon. I DO NOT WANT 500 LOOKALIKES. i want ACTUAL CONVERGENT SPECIES.

this is actually intentional commentary on the state of art because anyone who has drawn enough pictures can tell you that whether or not the drawing is consenting to being drawn right now has a huge impact on whether or not you're able to do it.
