in my mind i think most if not all of the inanimate insanity contestants are somewhere on the aroace spectrum since they weren't conditioned into allonormativity like the people in the "real" world were. nobody feels compelled to put a label on their relationships because they've never had a reason to. paper and oj are probably the only people in a Committed Romantic Relationship and everyone else thinks they're boring for it
"why do you defend female characters over the same things you hate male characters for" because fandom is disproportionately interested in the motivations and actions of men over women and will do literally everything in their power to justify their faves while treating female characters like one dimensional cutouts who exist to serve men's narratives. because you are predisposed to find any and all "unladylike" behaviors in female characters as unlikeable and you make up excuses to rationalize it rather than examine the biases you've imposed on your media consumption. because sometimes i think it's actually far more interesting when a woman breaks the mold in an unpleasant way but the same doesn't actually apply to men because that's the status quo in fiction and why should i feel compelled to give a fuck about them when there's like 100000000 of you doing that for me. because almost every single time i see an essay about how deep and complex a morally questionable character is it is literally always every single time without fail the exact same 20-30 something year old guy that looks like his name is kyle and i'm bored of it.

it's such bs that the whole guilt-ridden stoic self-sacrificing martyr thing doesn't work outside of fiction. repressing all your emotions and neglecting your physical wellbeing should make you god's most tragically beautiful morally unassailable little soldier of righteousness but all it does is give you bad skin and gastrointestinal problems

Trophbox's relationship being more explored and truly showing Trophy's weird entitlement to box as a confidant despite not actually knowing her and continuing to push her away because he can't stop holding onto his precieved friendship with her corpse
Fan's first major dip into corruption and becoming power hungry and selfish like mephone. The way he talks to marshmallow and uses manipulative language to make Her seem like the bad guy when in actuality they BOTH had good and bad intentions.
Fan being physically disabled and being implied to need physical therapy. Not because he Became Disabled but I'm glad there are like real consequences I guess? Not Consequences. Like. He's affected by this. This is real.

The will almost always agree with leftist points if you can find a way to blame the problem on their vague enemies (useful, since rich people are the root of most problems), and tie it back to their ability to say fuck everyone else. NEVER appeal to science, theory, logic, or human goodness. Make it seem as if you are a paranoid lunatic who trusts no one. They love it.
