i dislike the weird jump to blame suicide victims for their suicides and call them selfish. suicide is very frequently in some way a social murder. i think instead of blaming someone who was in such a dark place that they saw no other way out we should maybe be blaming the people who threw gas on the fire, such as those with a lot of power to make that person's life that bad or those who abused them into it. is that really that unreasonable

People with psychosis aren't fucking entertainment. We aren't here to be stared at. We aren't here to satisfy anyones twisted amusement. None of us are media to be consumed. Our purpose to live isn't to be laughed at. The reason we survive isn't to be made a mockery of. We're people.

I started reading again and so far it's going very well. I know for a lot of people who deal with psychotic disorders reading is extremely difficult, but it can be done. It just takes some time and practice. I hope everyone who wants to can get back to reading again.

many women are excited to get old and weird, but i have great news that it's fully possible to become weird now, before you get old. just imagine the heights of weirdness you will be able to reach in fifty years if you get started now. that's what I think

I'm gonna say it, I do think that even the laziest person imaginable should have a roof over their head, food in their stomach, and access to healthcare

It sounds kinda dramatic but I think psychosis (particularly schizophrenia) is often socially regarded as a form of death. Psychotics aren't seen as real, living people so much as ghosts or fragments of our sane selves.
