đ signs of curses đ
hello loves! this is going to be a bit of a tricky subject. I absolutely believe that curses, hexes, mal de ojo, buri nazar, and negative spirit attachments exist. with that being said, I also believe that a lot of the things we assume are signs of curses can also be signs of poor self care, vibration misalignment, poor health, and the effects of mental illness. I always suggest that, before jumping to the conclusion that something is a curse, ask yourself if it could be a result of something health related or psychological. always consult a doctor or psychologist if negative mental and physical symptoms persist. part of being a witch and a mystic means learning to discern what is spiritual concern and what is medical concern. Iâd say that 9/10, these symptoms are mundane rather than mystical. please take responsibility for your spiritual, physical, and mental health! with that being said, here are some of the primary indication of a curses. ⨠âĄď¸
Sudden lack of motivation and loss of energy - specifically if youâve been feeling stable and energized for a long period of time then, suddenly, you find yourself groggy and unable to clearly focus.Â
Nightmares and sleep paralysis - dreams in which youâre being chased, killed, put in uncomfortable situations, or forced to face fears. pay attention to crows, vultures, owls, snakes, spiders, and rats if they appear in your dreams. these can sometimes be representative of bad omens. sleep paralysis has long been associated with spirit attachment.
Relationship difficulties - if youâve been in a stable, loving relationship with your partner and things rapidly go downhill, it could be a sign of spiritual interference. this also applies for friendships and familial relationships.Â
Financial loss - being fired suddenly, financial fraud, unexpected payments that come out of nowhere, competition within the workforce, legal issues, difficulty finding a job⌠these could all be potential indications of a curse.Â
Dark Omens - mirrors breaking, crystals cracking, a string of bad luck, an heirloom going missing, a flock of crows surrounding you, etc.
Health Problems - headaches, panic attacks (if you are not usually prone to them), random pains, cuts that appear out of no where, intense muscle spasms, strange allergies, increased anxiety. as I said before, please get these things looked at by a professional. even if youâre certain itâs the result of a curse, medical attention is still needed.Â
Difficulty sleeping - itâs common for those who have attracted a lower-vibration spirit to wake up between the hours of 3-4 AM. general disruption of sleep patterns is also a sign.Â
Inability to access intuition - you may find it difficult to connection to your pendulum, cards, or other divination tools. when you go to do your usually spiritual work youâll hit a âwallâ that prevents you from truly tapping in.Â
âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸Â
how do I know if itâs a curse or something else?
the main difference is that these âsymptomsâ will appear suddenly and out of no where. theyâre a huge contrast from your normal vibration. if youâve experienced these symptoms for as long as you can remember, it might be a sign of something psychological in which I suggest you consult a professional. for example, prolonged anxiety attacks could clearly be the result of general anxiety disorder. consistent lack of motivation is usually associated with depression. can long term mental illnesses be caused by a curse? itâs possible, yes, but not likely. also, these can all be related to non mental or physical illnesses. perhaps youâre having difficulty sleeping because you dink caffeine too late in the day. maybe you canât access your intuition because youâre not being consistent with your spiritual routine. maybe youâre having headaches because youâre drinking too much alcohol. too often people will blame their own short-comings on a curse because itâs easier to place the blame outside of ourselves rather than taking responsibility.Â
how does one get rid of a curse?Â
first of all, if you believe youâre under a curse, take a deep breath and know that youâre going to be okay! just by recognizing that thereâs an antagonistic outside force against you, youâre taking away itâs power. awareness is key! my favorite way to handle a curse is through prayer, mantra, salt baths, smoke cleansing, selenite wands, florida water soak, and visualization. any combination of these thingsÂ
my fave mantra is the mantra of kali ma, destroyer of darkness, evil, and spiritual obstacles.Â
om kring kalikaye namo namaha
listen to it hereÂ
also, if youâre comfortable, asking archangel michael for clearing and protection would be lovely!Â
âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸ âĄď¸
thatâs all I have for you, my loves! remember to protect yourself and stay safe when youâre fucking with magic! feel free to hit me up with questions!

The Moon governs the cyclicity of manifestation on Earth, symbolises the subconscious, dreams, divination and darkness. Itâs main metal in alchemy is Silver and itâs astrological sign is Cancer.
Planetary magick always fascinated me. Doing a series of illustrations related to that helps me understand better the archetypes and symbolism associated with each planet. The main source that helped me choose the natural correspondences for each illustration was Heinrich Cornelius Agrippaâs Three Books of Occult Philosopy.
â John Dee (1527-1609) was an English mathematician and astrologer interested in divination using crystals and mirrors. This crystal was used for curing disease and predicting the future by looking for symbols or the âghostsâ of people in the stone. Dee claimed that this crystal was given to him by the angel Uriel in November 1582, and that Uriel had instructed Dee and his assistant Edward Kelley (1555-1597/8) on how to make the Philosopherâs Stone â one of the goals of alchemy. The crystal was entrusted to Deeâs son, Arthur (1597-1651) who passed it on to Nicholas Culpeper (1616-1654) as a reward for curing his liver complaints. Culpeper was a physician and alchemist who used the crystal to try and cure illness, until 1651, when he believed a demonic ghost burst out from it.â

Historical Witchcraft 101: Witch Bottles
Witch bottles, or âBellarminesâ, are a protective folk charm found mostly in England and the United States, and have been documented since the 16th century.
They were primarily used by non-witches rather than witches, to protect against âmaleficiumâ, or offensive magic. They could also be used as curses.
[Image description: two grey earthenware bottles with a bearded face on the neck]
Witch bottles were typically made from earthenware, stoneware, or glass jugs or bottles. The bottleâs contents varied, but typically contained a mix of
Sulphur
Nail clippings
Hair
Human urine
Sharp things: nails, pins, thorns, glass, etc.
The bottle would then be buried, sometimes upside-down. It would either be hidden, typically under the fireplace, or buried at the farthest corner of the property.
For protection, the idea is that the âtaglocksâ (the nails, hair, urine, blood etc.) represent the person being protected. Any curses, harmful magic or spirits will be drawn to that bottle, rather than the person in need of protection. The baneful magic or spirit will then be trapped in the bottle by the sharp things.
It is also important that the taglocks are made of âdeadâ material rather than âliveâ material that is still connected to the person, such as blood or sexual fluids. If it contains âliveâ material, the curse can supposedly still attack you from within the bottle, due to this connection.
For cursing, you would put the same items (or as many as possible) into a bottle and bury it on the targetâs property - the idea being that the sharp things attack that person.
Additionally, a witch bottle could be created to break a curse. The victim would urinate into a bottle, sometimes adding sharp objects to harm the witch who cursed them, and throw it into a fire. When the bottle exploded, the curse would be broken and the witch would be weakened or harmed. (As a word of warning, there are better ways to break curses than risking being hurt by glass shards.)
If you choose to make a witch bottle, it is important that you are responsible. Do not bury items that are not biodegradable, especially as witch bottles contain sharp things! Instead, you could bury the bottle in a planter.

Your medication doesnât make you less witchy/spiritual/psychic/magical
-Your medication doesnât make your work less potent.
-Your medication is part of your self care and self care is apart of your spiritual journey.
-Your self care is apart of a good & healthy praxis.
-Mental instability is not a sign of more âpotent magicâ.
-Harming your body by not taking your meds, not following medical advise, etc. does not make you a more hardcore practitioner, a more devoted devotee, or a stronger witch.
Thank u for coming to my ted talk.
A lesson for beginner practioners
So, before I begin, Iâm not a beginner. Iâve been at this for years but I would like to show you guys something. I want to tell you a story about what itâs like being a âwitch for hire.â
Now, I have a client. Sheâs not a bad woman, just a little ditzy but I really like her. She has supported me through my journey as a witch and I have no problem utilizing my gifts to help her completely. Well, she has problem with love. I had given her a few readings on two men but one in particular stood out. His reading was just dark, cards out here exposing him for being some evil ass demon of a man so Iâm like welp. Wellll, she asked me to perform a love spell.
Before I continue, let it be known I hate love spells. I would never bash someone for performing them but as a natural lover, I think they just cause problems. However, I appreciate this client so I told her I would perform one for her. (Just because I donât like doing them doesnât mean I donât do them for clients.)
So I went out and got the stuff and set it up and it just looked gorgeous. Iâm talking about herbs smelling, candles glowing, energy right. Everything was good, right?
Well, one of the candles starts doing this:
I usually take this as a good sign. Flame is high which means the want is being sent out to the ancestors and theyâre listening. So I go on about my business to allow the spell to let the magick flow.
Next thing I motherfucking know, the candle fucking combusts and the 7 day candle, that was pink, goes transparent and the flame goes out completely. The candle that combusts, breaks the plate itâs on and sets the desk on fire and then itâs over.
So im just sitting there looking like hell nah and I tell the client that the spell isnât going to work because I may not have this kind of shit often but I do know that this is the result of some blockage and my ass, knowing how to Witchâ˘ď¸ properly tells her that Iâm not going to do more. She asks me to and Iâm like âyeet.â
Basically I want to tell you baby witches getting into your crafts that this is no joke. Doing spells for people is not a fucking game, itâs not cute, and itâs definitely not a guaranteed effect. Real shit happens and even things like this will leave you shaken and want to not do it anymore. You need to be in this for the long run, not for money because witches dabble with danger every single day. Practioners for hire do this every. Single. Day. And this shit is exhausting and sometimes scary and sometimes unpredictable.
@ my hoodoo practioners, stay safe and trust your ancestors because that, up there, was conjure. And if you canât trust what your ancestors say to you (ie, combustion) then baby, this ainât for you.
@ appropriators, you canât handle all that up there so this is also a post reminding you to stay in your lane
@ baby witches wanting to do work for hire one day, learn protection spells first and always put your instincts first. No money is worth spiritual trauma.

Herbs you see commonly in spells which can actually kill you:
Mistletoe
Hemlock
Mandrake
Wolfsbane
Yew
Wormwood
Monkshood
PLEASE always research before using anything you see on spells, especially traditional spells. Some non poisonous herbs can also be specifically bad for some of you who have health conditions because of their side effects!
Stay safe, witches.
Waters
Hello darlings! Today I really want to talk about magical waters. Iâll start with simple waters, then one ingredient waters, and then composite waters. Waters is pretty much anything like water that is used magically, so it ranges from storm water to tobacco and damiana tincture, and other stuff. Any of these can be collected whenever is convenient, but I added the time to collect them to make them more potent.
Natural Waters
Rain Water:
Rain water can be used for any spell to make it more potent, but it is a useful tool in peace magic, to quell anger, to relax, and for dream magic. Collect whenever you want.
Storm Water:
Storm water can be either protective or offensive. Use it to wash down your doors to protect you from hexes, and wash your tools with it to amplify their power. You can use it in any hexes or curses you want. To amplify it, add rusty nails to it and let turn rusty. Collect on a waxing gibbous moon.
Swamp Water:
Can be used in works for binding, hexing, or cloaking. Use when wanting to cause illness. Annoint yourself with swamp water to make yourself unnoticeable to others. Colelct on the dark moon (second new moon of the month) or on the new moon.
Marsh Water:
Marsh water is almost the same as swamp water, but it is more suitable for cloaking than other things. It can also be used for cleansing negative energies. Colelct on waning crescent moon.
Hail Water:
Hail water is melted hailstones. Use it for protection or hexing. Similar to storm water, but more aggressive. Use when you want to break sojmeone, or when you wish to cause physical harm. Collect during a full moon for best results.
Salt Water:
Salt water can be used for cleansing and protection from negativity. Simply add salt to water.
Sea Water:
Use sea water in works involving the psyche, or in hexing. It can also be used for cleansing. I use it to work with demonic forces as well. Collect on a new moon.
Lake Water:
Lake water is amazing in works concerning emotions, love, memories, or past life regressions. Boil it and drink it to enhance attempts for past life regressions. Collect on waxing moon.
Pond Water:
Use when wanting to bind someone, or to limit their horizons. Keep a flower vase with pond water in it on a table to silence a conversation to those not sitting at it. Collect on a dark moon.
Spring Water:
Spring water is super versatile. Use it instead of tap water.
Dew:
Dew can allow the witch to cast powerful glamours for beauty and youth. It is an important ingredient in love potions. Collect at sunrise during a waxing or full moon.
Self Water:
Fancy word for spit or urine. This one is a little nasty, but it is to be used whenever a spell needs to be tied to the caster.
Simples
Sun Water:
Bask any sort of water in the sun for a full day. Use it for cleansing, to bring positivity into a space, or for glamours of youth.
Moon Water:
Used to power up any spell. Let water sit in the light of a full moon for a full night.
Tobacco Water:
Steep tobacco into water for a week in the fridge. When strained, mix with 100 proof vodka, about 1.5 parts water for 1 part vodka. Use it to cleanse or to offer to spirits when working with them. Can be used to cause addiction in a person.
Saffron Water:
Steep saffron into water and mix 1 part water with 1 part vodka. Use to raise winds by sprinkling it in the air, or rub on your lips before whistling and raising storms.
Rose Water:
Use for love, glamours, and beauty. Steep fresh rose petals in vodka for a period of 4 weeks, and then extract all the liquid from the petals by pressing them until they have lost their color. Cut with 0.5 part water.
Orange Blossom Water:
Use for joy, beauty, cleansing, and sunshine. Prepare in the same way as the rose water.
Lilac Water:
Use lilac water for sleep, dream magic, spirit work, and cleansing. Prepare in the same way you would prepare the other flower waters.
Apple Blossom Water:
Create this by the same manner as the three flower waters above. Use for protection, love, and beauty.
Holly Water:
Holly water is to be used to protect your family. It will prick at intruders, or unwelcomed guests. It will also allow you to always have knoledge of the safety of your family. Simply steep holly leaves in water and mix with vodka. Do not ingest this, as it is poisonous.
Composites
All Bite no Bark Water:
A powerful water used for protection of a space. Mix together storm water, hair of a black dog, dirt of a grave, the ashes of psalm 7, rose thorns, teeth of a canidae, and three holly berries. Pour around a room which you wish to protect, or water protective plants to give their produce an aggressive kick. This water will protect a space with the ferocity of a rabid dog, and will not warn before attacking.
Fiery Wall of Protection Water:
Mix together sun water with three hot peppers, red brick dust, pottasium nitrate (saltpeter), sulfur, and blackthorn pricks. Another like the above, but more passive. Attacker might suffer a rash after encountering it.
Pitch Water:
Use pitch water to stop someone from making any progress. Mix together water from a swamp, gum arabic or acacia, charcoal dust, and chapparal. It can also be used to dissorient. Fair warning, this water is hella sticky.
Fuck Off Water:
Mix together sumac, apple seeds, thorns of a blackberry, cloves and storm water. Use it to repel unwanted people.
Goodbye Lover Water:
Mix together sea water, sumac, cloves, poppy seeds, thorns of a cactus, petals of a hibiscus flower, and saltpeter. Use it to get rid of unwanted courters or lovers, or to make two people break up.
I hope you guys find this useful! Make sure to be careful with any of the potentially dangerous ingredients listed, and put these to good use! Good luck my darlings.

ââTake Goetia. Ooer, yes, summoning demons. A couple of years ago we did a whole series of evocations from the Lesser Key of Solomon. For the first working, we thought âwhy bother with all this circle & triangle on the floor stuff - weâll just visualise âem instead.â The main result of that was that we both suffered nausea and a âdrainedâ feeling for a couple of days afterwards - a sort of dark hangover of the soul, I suppose. And the demon didnât come through very clearly. It turned out that Goetic demons have fairly 'traditionalâ ideas about how they liked to be invoked. None of this trendy stuff for them. Either we did it properly or weâd have a strike on our hands"â
