I’d like to imagine I met Beetlejuice from my friends urging me to do a ouija board session with them. They’ve always been super bold and rebellious, and so have I, so it wouldn’t take much to get me into the old house and to touch the planchette. The board would spring to life, instructing us to say Beetlejuice three times. Everyone would look at each other, trying to see who was brave enough to follow the spirits demand. Of course, I would be the first to listen, throwing my head back as I shout into the still night.
“ BeetlejuiceBeetlejuiceBeetlejuice!!!! “
I’d feel the air go still, and someone’s arms fall around my shoulders. A low voice would grumble into my ear.
“ It’s showtime~. “
We’d get along in a very on and off way for a while. Me being my jumpy self would delight and amuse him to no end as he took a special kind of pleasure in scaring the mess out of me, and after a bit of getting adjusted we’d bicker and tease each other to no end. He’d probably fall for me first, me being far too oblivious for my own good. There was no fancy declaration of getting together, or even asking ‘ Do you wanna be my girlfriend? ‘. We’d just be sitting side by side, and slowly but surely, my head would fall onto his shoulder. We’d end up cuddling for hours on end, and since then we’d be inseparable.
