let the slowest lead . we benefit from their awkward newness . they don’t see they don’t know . and if they are hurried cajoled harried . they never will . it behooves us hot shots to slow down . to coddle not coax . to wait and stay behind . and look where they look and step into their steps . find out the source of slowness . care awkward willingness . no butterfly is born fully formed . but must in slow stages crawl and chew leaves and contemplate . a little death a slow dissolution . transformation . only after all that are they able to fly .

i miss you your words the thought of you that comes from sharing that comes from wanting more than words sometimes you send me a kiss and i feel the touch of your lips as if we could really press together and feel but just the thought lights the fire that is real i miss you when i am taken away when the load piles on through the day when i cannot reach out just to say that i miss you

Flowers reaching for the heavens smiling we greet the morning sun each one seeking but a bit of love to share before our days are done Flowers growing in understanding  perhaps players in a cosmic game celebrations of our unique diversity yet wonderfully all much the same  Flowers blooming in their season blossoming hearts learning to feel  though each is delicate and fragile by love we have the power to heal
