Don't Forget to Smile

It’s no surprise that some people with ADHD have trouble communicating or maintaining friendships. I’ve lost friends and drifted away from people under pressure because I forget or refuse to chitchat with them sometimes. Some end up not being successful in relationships because people find them as annoying. From what I understand, some autistics aren’t always verbal and have their own alternatives to showing compassion to the people they care about, but people still end up taking it the wrong way. Hell, even introverts who are completely neurotypical can get turned down for not communicating “normally”.
