i think there needs to be a bit of a evaluation of boundary for h. and since its clear they wanted the location to be public, i get why they were posting in real time. its obviosuly h's choice.
but when your hairstylist is getting asked for autographs and fan photos that you facilitated, she's not gonna be objective in advising you on strategy and timing of things, isnt it? when your hairstylist's wife is cozily glued to your girlfriend, you cant really expect drama free detachment if it ever comes to that, can you? but your friends in vancouver dont know the intricacies of fame. but your pr is muddling things and your new friends in the world of fame are so enmeshed with the pr, it cant be so straightforward to call shit out?
he invited and nourished all of this. far, far too soon. i am not saying his career will tank, im sure it wont. but there's a certain debacle being attached to it that feels unnecessary.
im not someone who says he cant have his team as his friends. i'd suggest chris hemsworth as an example who famously works with his childhood friends. but they're also not giving out autographs. or mingling with his fandom online.
there's another ex-boyband singer whose PA since day1 is his childhood best friend. fans have fanpages about his bestie because he features in the singer's videos sometimes. and he's funny and so, so loyal to the singer. it has been 15 years and the bestie has never signed an autograph, not posed for a fan pic.
these dynamics can work, but not the path he and his team chose. not long term. not professionally.
