I've been looking (very fondly) at the photos from the September Trip. What strikes me as I look at all of these is the intimacy. Unlike the NY trip, there are no friends around, it's all just them. We've seen Hudson hiking with friends but this is an exclusive trip. All the photos are made by the other or selfies. It's two people spending time together, getting to know each other beyond the filming set and reestablishing their relationship.
i'm seeing some c*ncois shippers trying to change the narrative that apparently h/k is the karma for people being queerphobic towards f/c. i can't speak for everyone else but hudconners literally did not want f/c because we want hudcon to date (also the age gap). i don't think that's homophobic. also, believe it or not, f has said questionable things during interviews about the fandom. lastly, f and h released the statement because there were racist replies under f's comment on h's post. the shipping of f/c has perpetuated racism against the main poc actor of the show.
and mind you people are now bracing themselves also for the troy-ilya ship that might happen because troy is probably white and racists will find a way to erase the main poc actor. this is not an isolated case btw. some book hr fans pre-show already had the foresight that the shane actor will experience racism.
also i feel like these people call f/c as queer couple but not h/c because they don't see hudson as queer, sometimes i wonder if they see him as a person. some are now saying h is gonna be dropped by hr after the show. he is literally one half of the leads of the show.
