The emotional connections built by the half and half lore were strong and I could tell my story with it.

But now, it's erased.

In a world of magic and strange beings, being a bridge between worlds, is a story to be told with a unique point of view and reasonably, different powers/abilities.

But now, you can only be half anything by way of "reskinning", disingenuous cosplay which erases us in the mixed margins and mainstreams.

I straight up told them I would not be participating in any more of their official private play testing after I got this news. (Yes I have been credited in the front of a few books, no I won't tell you which name)

And their response was "They do exist, reskin!"

By this logic, my brother and I would necessarily have to be two different races in setting???? How many families in this world did they just split down the middle?

This is so fucked.

Did they, like, ask even one (1) mixed person before doing this? Did they even ask any monoracial POC? Anyone from an interracial family or relationship???
