(Base) Theme: Viper (Preview) / Download: Code.
Tutorial: Capital letter styling explained.
Fully functional and polished container theme with an optional, fully incorporated muses/verses page, ready to be installed at the flip of a switch (please check out the read more below for instructions how to set it up). Beyond that, this theme contains similar optional ‘extras’ as my previous themes, including text wrapping, boxed blockquotes and first letter styling; now also joined by a switch to go from my tradtionally used serif font, to the popular sans-serif Calibri font. This theme is also fully equipped with all color swatches needed to give the entire container and all details within it, a full color overhaul at your convenience!
1. To enable the popup askbox and get it to function properly: click on Edit HTML, then click the little cogwheel icon at the very top, choose ‘Find and Replace’. And in the left box that appears, type YOURURLHERE and in the one on the right, you type your own URL, then click ‘All’. Here, like this.
2. Popup pages not appearing? Go into your blog’s settings and make sure that the option ‘Always serve blog over SSL‘ is turned off, in other words, it needs to be grayed out, like so. This option has the tendency to interfere with a lot of coding, including popup pages and music players.
Most important note: If you opt to make use of the elaborate incorporated muses/verses page, you will need to click on Edit HTML and head into the code of the theme (I’ve tried, but sadly this cannot be avoided). For those who are code savvy, the muses page shouldn’t be difficult to alter. But for those who aren’t very knowledge, let me help you out with some instructions and help under the read more, as to make your experience as simple as possible. There is also information on how to add additional listings.
But before that, as always, I kindly ask that if you intend on using the theme, is To consider reblogging this post as to help spread it and get others who might also be interested in using it, to see it as well. You’re under absolutely zero obligation whatsoever to do so, but I’d immensely appreciate it if you did!
